Great show with tapas including! Very talented dancers. Food and drink was delicious. If you have an opportunity to see I would definitely recommend.
The music, the dancing. It was all amazing. I have always wanted to see a flamenco show and this show was not disappointing
I lived a beautiful experience with excellent teachers of flamenco voice and guitar! Cute artists who gave an unforgettable show delicious food! Unique flamenco experience in MADRID!
The Show was amazing. I can't say enough. Thoroughly enjoyed. Was way more than we expected. Highly recommend.
Very touristy and commercial
The flamenco show takes place in a hose-like narrow basement. On the sides is a table with two chairs. A table is right outside the emergency exit - have we learned nothing from the disaster in Switzerland in a basement bar? The lighting is far too dark for the completely black stage and the dark basement. Since the air is dry, moisture is provided with mist. This makes the view of the stage even worse. The flamenco dancers and musicians are good, so are the acoustics. So we could at least hear and guess what was happening on stage.
First time visiting Madrid and a Flamenco performance was at the top of the list for me. Saw the great reviews and it was located close to where I was staying so I went. The performance space is located in an underground grotto of a wonderful Spanish restaurant--which was perfect for what was to come! The opening dance immediately commanded attention with its sharp, fluid movements and dramatic lighting. What followed was pure magic. A combination of instrumental and dance pieces were incredible. Dancers displayed remarkable control, with moments of high-energy balanced by delicate yet mastery of their craft. The costumes design—simple, flowing linen—allowed the dancers' technical lines to be the focal point, emphasizing the natural, raw emotion. I was literally brought to tears at one point. The entire troupe delivered a deeply moving and technically proficient show. Triple stars for the music, lighting and overall atmosphere.
Good show to see good all
The tour I joined in the afternoon was delayed, so I asked for a change to a later time than the one I booked and they were happy to accept. It gave me extra time to go to the store and watch the amazing show. I enjoyed flamenco for the first time. The staff at the shop was very pleasant.
The dancer was very impressive; the musicians/singers played well. The artificially amplified acoustics with effects were borderline: The artificial reverb effect has reduced the intelligibility and authenticity of the music/singing; "pure" music/singinging (= without artificial effects) would be desirable. Meals can also be taken, but it is advisable to arrive some time beforehand.
