Interesting guide and very good food. Lots of walking. We booked an early tour which was less hot and crowded than a later tour would have been.
We had a lovely time walking around a local area in Florence. We visited family run shops and a local market. The food samples were delicious and there was a side of history. Excellent tour!
Ana was fantastic!!!!! We went to the more authentic Florence places and she was so fun and knowledgeable! I was a little under the weather and she helped me find a pharmacy. She was great with the kids and it was also a very informative tour of the city. Would highly recommend Ana!
Unfortunately it was very wine focused even though after the second glass, I stated that I didn’t want to drink anymore.

I have done food tours all over the world. This was the worst. The “bakery style” pizza served at the last stop was not something you need a guide to find. We all left hungry even though we had signed up for “ten tasting” which was only three stops.

We want to clarify that the number of stops is planned at the host's discretion, and the experience is designed around the tastings themselves rather than the locations. Maria was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and we really appreciated the way she shared insights about the city throughout the tour. She introduced us to some hidden gems we likely wouldn’t have found on our own, which made the experience feel unique and local. That said, for the price of the tour, we were expecting more food. We’ve done several food tours before, and they typically leave us feeling very full by the end. In this case, the portions felt a bit limited in comparison. If the experience is intended to focus more on the history of Florence rather than the food itself, it might be worth adjusting the pricing to better reflect that balance. Additionally, the description mentions “6 tastings,” but this doesn’t necessarily mean six separate stops it can refer to the total number of items served, which was a bit unclear and different from what we’ve experienced on other tours. Overall, Maria made the tour enjoyable, but a bit more clarity and value on the food side would make the experience even better.

You will get to try some different foods and learn a little more about Florence! We had a wonderful time and our guide Eden was delightful!

Ana was a great guide, giving us some history on Florence and the food. We went to a few places that we would have never even stopped at had it not been for this tour and the food was great.
This private food tour was amazing! Our guide was Mara and she was fun, knowledgeable, easy to talk to and had great food choices. We liked that it was just our family on the tour versus a huge group. Grazie Mara!!
