Fire Tour - Pyramider, vulkaner, agaver og tequila

Rodrigo was an amazing guide and I had a fantastic time on the Fire tour! I was expecting “small group” to mean a van with 10 people, but we only had 3 guests in a regular car, making for a very personal experience. I only speak English, one customer only speaks Spanish and one spoke both. Rodrigo did an amazing job of switching between languages effortlessly without making anyone felt left out. The tour was educational, well worth the price, and was a full day of experiences. We learned about the ancestral and industrial production techniques for making tequila (and the difference between tequila and mescal), had time to wander around the town of Tequila, and had a great morning at the pyramids learning about the ancient civilizations. Highly recommend!

The trip ran smoothly. Alejandro responded promptily, planned everything well and provided many other recommendations during the trip. The tequila in the tasting at the distillery were of good quality. The photo opportunity at the agave field under the sunset was a nice ending of the tour.

The Guachimontones pyramids are interesting, as is the culture and wisdom of the natives in that fascinating era; then we went to the very picturesque town of Tequila where we bought souvenirs; we had lunch at a restaurant recommended by our guide Carlos, the lunch was very delicious, we also went to the Los Tres Toños Distillery, the tasting of all the Tequilas we tried was excellent, Carlos our guide was very attentive and took great care of us, with fruit, water, and sodas. Highly recommended tour 10/10

A long day but we saw so much history, beautiful land, and culture. Alejandro was a very knowledgeable and passionate guide.

The Fire Tour was the best tour we took during our stay in Guadalajara. Our guide, Alejandro, was fantastic--very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and friendly. The activities were interesting and a good variety. We especially enjoyed the Guachimontones ruins and the tequila distillery and tasting. We could have done with less time in the town of Tequila as it was very touristy. What a great day!

This was a nice all day excursion that was fun, educational and for as long as the day was, did not feel over exhausting. Carlos was an excellent driver and guide with great English and fun sense of humor. If you want to get out and see some nature, learn about how tequila is made, and do a little shopping or people watching, this tour is a great choice.
