Denne fem og en halv times tur tager dig til de vigtigste attraktioner omkring Phuket Island, herunder den storslåede Big Buddha. Følg med på morgenturen, hvor du vandrer langs Phukets sydlige kystlinje, beundrer de uberørte hvide sand, frodige tropiske landskaber og den livlige atmosfære i Patong, Karon, Kata og Rawai strande. Patong Beach er det sande hjerte i Phuket, og hvad der gør det så attraktivt for mange. Patong er stor, fed, overfyldt, lys og høj. Og alligevel strømmer millioner af mennesker hit hvert år som fluer på honning. Hvis Bangkok er den store mango, så er Patong den store durian: du vil elske Patong!
Karon Viewpoint er et af de mest frekventerede synspunkter i Phuket. Herfra er det muligt at få udsigt over strande Kata Noi, Kata Yai og Karon. Karon Viewpoint besøges ikke på eftermiddags solnedgangstur. Beliggende mellem Nai Harn og Kata Noi strande, er udsigtspunktet travlt de fleste dage af året og er et grundlæggende element i mange ture ruter. Lokalt kaldet 'Khao Saam Haad' (Three Beaches Hill) har den lokale kommune af en eller anden grund officielt omdøbt det til 'Karon Viewpoint'. Det ligger lige syd for Kata Noi-stranden og kigger direkte ud til Andamanhavet, men de fleste har deres kameraer trænet ret nord ved den unægteligt imponerende otte kilometer lange udsigt over de tre vestkyststrande i baggrunden.
Af de mange templer, der findes på Phuket-øen, er Wat Chalong-templet det største og mest ærbødige. Tempelkomplekset blev bygget i sin nuværende placering i 1837. Der er fundet nogle rester af ældre strukturer, men det er ukendt nøjagtigt, hvor gamle de er. Den store grund af Wat Chalong, der officielt hedder Wat Chaitararam, indeholder en viharn, en mondop, en ubosot, en chedi, der indeholder et hemmeligt relikvie, en sala og et krematorium.
En rundvisning i en cashewnødderfabrik i Phuket er et must for cashewnødderelskere. Cashewnødden er et oprindeligt produkt, der dyrkes i Phuket og andre provinser i det sydlige Thailand og er relativt billigt sammenlignet med priserne i de vestlige lande.
Old Phuket Town er et område af historisk interesse i Phuket City. Hovedgaderne i den gamle Phuket by er Thalang, Phang Nga, Krabi, Dibuk og Yoawarat. Den gamle Phuket by er kendt for kinesisk-portugisiske bygninger på begge sider af gaden. I løbet af eftermiddagsturen stopper vi, og dette vil være en vandretur i ca. 45 minutter. Først under morgenturen passerer vi gennem nogle gader uden faktisk at stoppe.
Big Buddha Phuket er en 45 meter høj hvid marmorstatue synlig overalt i den sydlige del af Phuket. Det er sandsynligvis øverst i alles 'Must-Do in Phuket', og med en god grund. Udsigten derfra er betagende. Statuen er bygget med folks donation og er stadig under opførelse. Hvis du har lyst til at gøre noget for at hjælpe med at afslutte den brede base i Buddha, kan du sponsorere et stykke hvid marmor til 300 til 1.000 baht afhængigt af størrelsen.

A really great experience. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and we were chauffeured around in a very comfortable air conditioned vehicle. They couldn’t do enough for us and ensured that we were comfortable and had enough time in each stop off.

Basically drove us around the southern part of island with a few stops. Guide seemed uninterested and was on her phone for the most part. Driver was very kind and tried hard to interact with us even given limited English. Not sure what the purpose of guide was

We booked the private tour and our guide Yo and our driver were wonderful we weren’t feeling well they day we arrived and they adjusted the tour for us to accommodate. Really appreciated the flexibility.

A good way to get an overview of Phuket if you are only here for a short time. As this was a private tour we were able to customize it which worked well for us.

It was very good. Our tour guide and driver were very professional and kind. The tour was four hours which was enough to stop and visit many places and we still had half of the day for us.

Great way to see most of the island of Phuket. Our guide, Phone , had an excellent command of the English language and was really knowledgeable. We were given 40 minutes of free time in the old town to shop. Had a great lunch there. Would certainly recommend taking this tour.
