I had an incredible experience with paragliding club thermique today! My mom and I went paragliding, and the entire team was absolutely amazing. They were super professional, warm, and full of positive energy. We communicated through WhatsApp, and her energy and vibes were just through the roof! It’s also a family-owned business, and you can feel the warmth and dedication from everyone involved. They were super nice, very talkative, and helped us every step of the way, so we never felt lost or uncertain. My mom, who is a bit older, had an unforgettable experience thanks to their guidance. I can’t recommend them enough!
(14/10/25) We had come for my companion, I had offered him a paragliding flight for his birthday. They convinced me to go with him. Terrified, I was wonderfully accompanied!!! Thank you!! I had considered trying this many times as I come to Lebanon regularly and you can always see the paragliders in the sky near Jounieh. I finally went for it today and had an amazing time. There are a few paragliding companies in the area but Club Thermique sounded the most established and professional. All the staff speak English and were super friendly. They take you up from the office to the take off point (or you can go on the Teleferique) and i had a wait of only 10-15 minutes before we took off. It was amazing. Joseph was my paragliding partner and also spoke English very well and was amazing. I loved the experience from start to finish. There is also a Go Pro to capture the whole flight. thank you Club Thermique and Joseph, I hope to do it again on my next trip
So much fun! Elie flew me down and he did a great job getting me comforfable. I felt safe the entire time. Amazing views, Lebanon is so beautiful.
This was very near our hotel in Jounieh, my wife wanted to go for it! she really did enjoy it, she was a little anxious in the beginning but according to her that was worth doing it, the feeling was great and that day the weather was very nice.

After going up and staying there for 30 mins they told us sorry the weather is not good so you can’t fly today .this was our last day. My problem why they did not inform us from the beginning . This was awful .
Hello Yasmina, it seems you have mistaken us with someone else. We do not have your name listed in our schedule. However, we will be happy to explain to you what happened in your condition: paragliding is highly subject to weather conditions. These conditions can be sudden and unpredictable. If we were already on takeoff and the weather suddenly changes or wind suddenly changes direction, we have two options: either wait and see if the weather adjusts itself or we abort immediately. If we decide to wait, it’s only because there’s a high SAFE chance that we will be able to fly. Waiting can last from 10 min to one hour even. That is the case everywhere, all over the world. In case we abort, it’s because WE ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND WE CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE. We do hope you come back, but this time to our club, so we make it up to you. All the best,
This was such an adrenaline rush, and a must do while in Beirut/ Jounieh! I had never been Paragliding before, so I was a little nervous, but Elie (my guide/ instructor) explained everything and made sure I had a great flight down. The full price of the experience includes a video of your jump (you/the instructor hold a GoPro on a selfie stick attached to the backpack) too! I’m very happy I made the time to do this, one of my top experiences in Lebanon.
This is the most amazing experience i have ever had , my boyfriend proposed to me after landing and the team were very helpful and supportive
