Nyd en 2,5-timers lille gruppe guidet vandretur i byen Pisa og bestig derefter det skæve tårn (yderligere 30 minutter påkrævet - aktivitet varer 3 timer i alt) med garanteret forudbestilt adgang ved at springe køen over ved billetkontoret og indgang til katedralen inkluderet. Udforsk byens hovedattraktioner, men opdag også nogle af de off-the-slagne-sti steder, der frekventeres af lokalbefolkningen. Rejseplanen er absolut nem, og gåturen er i et langsomt tempo. Dette er en unik oplevelse at nyde denne uhøjtidelige universitetsby, hvor du får mulighed for at lære om historien, monumenterne, men også det daglige liv i en lille og livlig middelalderby i Toscana. Mød din guide ved springvandet uden for Pisa Centrale togstation kl. 10:00. Guiden vil være let genkendelig på skiltet med Pisa Explorer. Derfra vil den lille gruppe flytte til den nærliggende Piazza Vittorio Emanuele.

Turen fortsætter langs den vigtigste gågade og kommercielle gade i Pisa
For enden af Corso Italia vil vi være på Arno-flodbredden og Ponte di Mezzo, hovedbroen i byens centrum, hvor vi vil beundre nogle af de smukkeste bygninger i byen, herunder Palazzo Blu.
Krydsede floden Arno, vi vil være på den nordlige bred langs Borgo Stretto, i hjertet af middelalderens Pisa
Engang det politiske centrum i den middelalderlige maritime republik Pisa nu hjemsted for nogle af de mest interessante senrenæssancearkitektur i byen og et af byens universiteter.
Fra Piazza dei Cavalieri vil den lille gruppe flytte til Piazza del Duomo for en generel introduktion til historien om det UNESCO-beskyttede monumentale kompleks af katedralen i Pisa og det skæve tårn
Besøg inde i katedralen i Pisa. Dresscode er uformel. Shorts er tilladt; Herrer ville være nødt til at tage deres hatte/kasketter af; damer skulle dække deres skuldre. Du kan tage billeder og videoer.
I slutningen af den 2,5 timer lange tur vil din guide hjælpe dig med at deponere dine tasker i garderoben og indgangen til det skæve tårn, som du vil bestige på egen hånd. Der er brug for omkring 30 minutter mere. Slut på tjenester.

Great informative tour with David who showed us the well known sights and some obscure but equally fascinating ones(k.Herring Mural,H&M interior etc).The tour ended with a trip up the Leaning Tower for a great view over Pisa.My wife(66)was unsure she could manage the climb but she did although the staircase can get a little tight with people coming up & down.There was a good mix of people on the tour English Aussie Canadian & Austrian.All in all we would highly recommend Pisa Explorer & David for a real insight into the rich history & culture of Pisa.

I absolutely loved this walking tour. David, was incredibly knowledgeable and brought Pisa’s history to life in such a fascinating way. He shared so much insight into why so many of Pisa’s buildings are tilted or sinking, the impact of the war, and how different civilisations shaped the city over time. The stories behind the Leaning Tower were really interesting, from why it was built where it was, how it was built, why it leans, to the modern engineering that’s made it safe to climb today. I was originally planning to visit Pisa on my own and had started researching what to see and do, but nothing I found online came close to the depth of understanding I gained from this tour. I walked away with such a richer appreciation of the city and its history. I’m so glad I joined. It really gave so much more meaning to my visit.

The history of Pisa was amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable and was able to walk us thru to all the highlights. Skipping the line at the tower was a blessing as the lines were very long. If you go to Pisa, skipping the line is a must!

We had a fantastic experience on our Leaning Tower of Pisa excursion! Our guide, David Di Giacomo, was absolutely incredible—so knowledgeable and passionate about the history and architecture of Pisa. He made the entire tour engaging and informative from start to finish. We were actually about 15 minutes late to the meetup spot due to unforeseen delays, and David went out of his way to try and wait for us so we could catch up. That level of patience and consideration really meant a lot to us, and we truly appreciated it.
