Kazbegi er højdepunktet i dette land. Ingen ønsker at forlade Georgien uden at se de fascinerende udsigter over Kaukasus-bjergene. Turen dækker betagende steder på vejen, hvilket gør vores tur uforglemmelig. Denne region i sig selv er så smuk, at du kan nyde udsigten selv fra bilen. Under denne tur har du også en chance for at få en uforglemmelig oplevelse med paragliding over Kaukasus-bjergene. Hvis du elsker natur, udsigt eller at tage en masse billeder med smukke baggrunde, er denne tur helt sikkert noget for dig. Overvej venligst: Vi skal til bjergene, så vær forberedt på frostvejret og tag noget varmt og behageligt sko med. Nogle gange er vejene spærret på grund af sne, og vi kan ikke komme ud over Gudauri, men ingen bekymringer. I dette tilfælde bliver vi i skisportsstedet Gudauri og har mulighed for at stå på ski, gå op til toppen af bjerget med svævebane, prøve paragliding, ATV-cykler, ridning osv.

Vi starter vores tur med at besøge Jinvali-dæmningen. Det blev en ny vandforsyning til Tbilisi i 1985. Som et resultat har vi en smuk sø med en fantastisk udsigt over vandet og de omkringliggende farverige skove. På dette sted kan du snuppe noget kaffe, købe souvenirs og selvfølgelig skyde nogle smukke billeder med den fantastiske udsigt over Jinvali.
Bagefter stopper vi for at udforske Ananuri Fortress Complex. Dette sted tiltrækker alle med sin udsigt og historie. Ananuri-fæstningen var en af middelalderens stærkeste højborge i Georgien. Det blev angrebet mange gange gennem århundreder, men det står stadig til at tiltrække flere og flere gæster hver dag. I øjeblikket er dette slot et UNESCO-arvsted, og dets sammensmeltning med skønheden i Aragvi-kløften giver dette sted en fejlfri charme.

Gergeti Trinity Church - XIV århundrede kompleks bygget på 2200 meter over havets overflade. Mange rejsende betragter det som et rigtigt paradis på jorden. Det er en kirke omgivet af en spændende natur, og den britiske avis Telegraph har placeret den på listen over de smukkeste kirker i verden.

Luka was AMAZING. He contacted me right after the tour. Understood what I was looking for. I had limited time so he offered to pick me up from the airport and was very flexible when my flight schedule changed. Him and his driver took me on an amazing magical tour of the Caucasus mountains along the military road. It was breathtaking. He went over and above and got me to try some local food and also set up a mind-blowing paragliding trip. We visited Jinvali, ananuri, gudauri and kazbegi. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We are grateful to Luka (our enthusiastic tourguide) and Mancho (our highly-skilled lady driver) for the Gudauri tour. We felt comfortable during our entire travel from Tbilisi to Gudauri. We had our stopovers and Luka was so knowledgeable about the area, giving us a detailed explanation of each location's history. I have visited Tbilisi a few times in the past and on this occasion, as I had a bit more time, I wanted to spend a day visiting the mountains. I am thrilled that I did! We booked relatively last minute but Lela was extremely helpful and I was able to communicate with her easily via WhatsApp to make all the arrangements. She answered any questions quickly, listened to what I wanted and designed a schedule around that. I was so impressed with her professionalism. Our driver, Michael, arrived on time and was absolutely brilliant. As well as giving us the usual ‘tourist information’, he took the time to tell us more intricate details about Georgian culture. This was really good as it meant that we developed a better understanding of the Georgian people / way of life. As we had a private tour, we had a more flexible schedule and Michael was very accommodating, taking us to a mountain festival celebration and also visiting the beach on the Jinvali reservoir on the way back to Tbilisi. I can also confirm, or more specifically my girlfriend can confirm, that he’s an excellent photographer and we have some great pictures of the trip! The highlight for both of us was the spectacular views along the way, at the various stop-offs. There are some incredible sights to behold along the way. Overall, I highly recommend Lela and Michael. A wonderful day!

Enjoyed getting to see outside of Tbilisi! Tons of natural beauty going through the mountains as well as stopping to see all the incredible sites. Luka is very friendly as well and has plenty of knowledge about the area. Helped make the trip out to Georgia unforgettable!

Luka took us on a great tour going north of Tbilisi. He was a fantastic guide and was very knowledgeable about all the stops on the tour. The scenery was awe-inspiring and the churches we visited equally as beautiful. Also, ask him how to eat Khinkali. He’s a professional!
