I was traveling solo in Istanbul and wanted to explore the Old Town with a guide so I could learn more about Istanbul's rich history and culture. My guide was incredibly helpful, kind, and friendly and made the whole experience feel comfortable and enjoyable. The guide answered all of my questions with great detail and even slowed down some parts of the tour to accommodate my interests! I was a little hesitant about doing a guided tour on my own, but I’m so glad I decided to go for it. It was absolutely worth it! I learned so much and got to appreciate the city in a way I definitely wouldn’t have on my own. There were so many interesting details and stories that I would have otherwise missed. The tour is so convenient and efficient. Highly recommend this experience, especially if you’re traveling solo and want to get a deeper understanding of Istanbul!

We are beyond happy that we booked this tour! It was a fantastic way to see Istanbul and did the city so much more justice to have a knowledgeable guide with us. We learned plenty of information about the Ottoman and Byzantine Empires and the stories behind all the amazing landmarks and old town. We didn’t know too much about Istanbul history. Our tour guide was very experienced so we felt like we were able to learn about the city in so much more depth. Our tour guide was, also very sweet, patient and friendly. He was very helpful and answered every question we had with care!🫶🏼 The tour was extremely well thought out and we never felt hurried along in the slightest. We also appreciated the personal recommendations along the way and that it felt more like wandering round the city with a knowledgeable friend instead of just a 'sightseeing' tour. A good guide makes such a difference in your experience of a city and the tour far surpassed our expectations. We gained so much more respect for Istanbul and its great past. Thank you!

I'm super glad I chose this tour. Istanbul is unlike any other city in the world, but it can also be overwhelming, especially when you first arrive. My favorite parts were the stunning Blue Mosque and the massive Hagia Sophia that inspired its architecture (right across from it). Topkapi Palace was surprisingly modest but peaceful with all its courtyards. The Grand Bazaar was pretty crowded, and it definitely helped to have someone orienting you there. My guide Mehmet was awesome. His English was great, and he was really friendly and knew a ton. He pointed out so many things I would have walked right past on my own, especially the Byzantine and Ottoman history that I don't know much about. I left feeling like I got to know Istanbul better than the average tourist just passing through. Perfect intro to my trip!

This tour was amazing. You definitely need a guided tour in Istanbul, as there is so much history to uncover and not much description available at the historical sites themselves. Our tour guide explained everything to us and was incredibly knowledgeable. He brought the city's history to life in a way we never could have learned on our own We loved that he wasn't rushing us through the sites and let us take our time to really soak everything in. He also knew all the best spots for coffee breaks and paced the day perfectly, so we got to enjoy everything without depleting our energy and feeling jetlagged. We really got to explore the best of the city
