Beskrivelse
Dagstur til Essaouira, den tidligere Mogador bygget på en klippehalvø med sine volde i vagt på havet, sin medina i hvide og blå toner, sin travle havn og sine lange sandstrande. Essaouiras historie går tilbage til det 8. århundrede f.Kr. Fønikerne stoppede der på vejen til ækvator. Den egentlige grundlægger af byen var Alaouite-sultanen Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah, der betroede byggeriet til Theodore Cornut, arkitekt og elev af Vauban. Essaouira er nu en hyggelig lille fiskerihavn meget livlig ved ankomsten af bådene, hvor sardiner og krebsdyr sælges på auktionen. På havnen reparerer fiskerne de røde net. Nyd sardinerne grillet udendørs i havnens små restauranter, og opdag derefter Sqala du Port, en kreneleret bastion bygget til at beskytte havnen og byen. Den består af to befæstede vinger bag flådeporten. Forlader havnen Sqala, gå ind på Moulay Hassan-pladsen.

Moses and Allez si brahim were a fantastic guide and driver. The tour was very smooth and easy with lots of communication. We made a couple of stops on the way and Moses told us some infomation about Morocco!!! Would highly recommend this tour even for solo travellers! Plenty of free time time explore and enjoy the town. Khalid Oubram was excellent. Besides the outstanding facilities( new air conditioned car) he was more than helpful with my predicament. I forgot my wallet at one stop, and he was the one to mobilise everything in order for ny walket to be found. And thank god, it was. Thank you Khalid .
