Ephesus Private Tours fra Cruise Port Kusadasi Shore Excursions

We recently took a private tour of Ephesus during our cruise stop in Kusadasi, and it was one of the highlights of our entire trip! As a family of four (including two teenagers), we wanted a more personalized experience, and this tour did not disappoint. From start to finish, everything was smooth, informative, and enjoyable.

This was my best experience yet with Viator! Aydin was great! He was knowledgeable on the tour too. The authentic Turkish lunch was fantastic too. This is a GREAT excursion. Thank you, Aydin!!

Aydin, our guide literally customized our excursion to our suit our preferences. We visited and learned about the Ephesus Archaeological site history and human experience as it was during that time. He kept the pace such that we were able to absorb and appreciate the depth and nuance of all he shared. A leather manufacturing, design and shop showed an incredibly thin leather that is waterproof, lightweight and soft. Though leather is not something we crave, we were impressed. We were treated to a lovely lunch of typical Turkish foods at an outdoor cafe adjacent to acvery special and interesting place. We then visited a weaving cooperative. Residents learn the art of rug weaving the myriad of materials such as wok, cotton and silk to create beautiful rugs that are sold enabling them to earn a comfortable living. We can only say that you need to see this to believe it. It’s absolutely spectacular.. In addition to customizing our day,there was a moment when we passed a flock of flamingos in the wild. I wanted to take a photograph however we were on a fairly busy two lane road. Aiden arranged for the driver to pull over and escorted me safely across the road to take those photos. We thoroughly enjoyed our day. I’m honestly cannot recommend Aiden for your excursion as we are sure he will customize one that you will never forget.

Undoubtedly the best tour I’ve ever had and the entire group believed. When Salman told us he was giving us his best guide Fulsun, we just assumed it was retail talk. Lo and behold she was absolutely amazing. We traveled with our 1 year old son and 4 adults. She was so caring, nurturing and supportive of our traveling with a kid. Her knowledge and presenting style was super authentic and personable and made us want to learn more. Some in our group on some of the other tours we had at different stops on our cruise would walk away and disengage. This was not the case with Fulsun as our guide. She was engaging and truly made you feel apart of the storytelling. All of her suggestions were really good, the stops she took us to were amazing and so was the authentic Turkish lunch which was included in the package. It was truly a really great experience. I am to be completely honest with my review and must admit that I could have personally done without the carpet part of the tour although I must confess that the people were all so pleasant and nice so that it made it more tolerable. While it wasn’t my cup of tea, it was interesting to learn and to observe while enjoying the cup of Turkish tea I was served while the rest of the group tried Turkish Liquor. It really though could have been a lot quicker as it really was a prolonged sales pitch to buy a carpet I had zero interest in purchasing. Despite this I easily rate the experience a 7/5. Yes, I would do it again and because of how warm the people are and how beautiful Turkey is I would visit again as a stop over tourist in the near future.
