Indgangskort på La Casa de Los Balcones Hus-Museum

Beskrivelse

This is an absolute must visit when you are in the area. This place is rich in history. It is the perfect glimpse into what life was like in the 17th century in a home with artisans making lace. Many of the home's original features are intact, and the details were breathtaking.
Muy bonito worth a visit
Nice visit, well preserved house, good audio-guide and friendly staff.
Friendly experience with friendly staff. Reasonable price and complete audio guide
Loved Tenerife We do not need to go to the Caribbean to enjoy the bn time and nature Wonderful and friendly people It eats great 😋
The actual museum was lovely but when we went to the shop the women in there followed us from room to room presumably because they felt like we would steal something. It May be because we were British, tourists or a yong family. They followed no one else. I was going to buy something but was so offended I put everything down and walked out. I don't think they realised that I understood a bit of Spainish and could hear them shouting across the shop to follow us. Would never return.
Beautiful house, a true work of art. I didn't like the fact that it was so short. You are in at most half an hour through the "museum" because it is quite small. So yes, a nice glimpse, but in my humble opinion even too short for the €6 you pay.
There is a QR code on arrival which gives you a guided tour, this took us up a windy spiral staircase, on to the first floor, where rooms dressed for the period and are preserved with glass, very interesting to learn the history of this place. Downstairs is a pretty courtyard with avocado trees and exotic plants. Great little tour for the price and helps to maintain this historic place.
We went in expecting an interesting and informative experience for our €6 per person entrance fee. We immediately climbed a very steep and narrow spiral staircase (not for the infirm) to a verandah where we found several viewing points into old style, lack lustre canarian rooms. We then descended an equally steep/narrow spiral staircase into a small courtyard with several, drab uninteresting features failing to provide some vague insight into a bygone age. That was it - the exit was off the courtyard. Don't waste your time and money. There aren't any photos as we were totally disillusioned.
€6 tourist. €3 resi, resident. For such a small fee you gqin a BIG insight to the Canarian history which is nice. Lots to see and hear for an optional addional €3 audio guide. Really lovey tourist area with the management and curator coming around also to keep you in the loop of upcoming events.
