The experience started badly as we were not aware that ID had to be shown and my wife had left her passport at the hotel. The staff were a little aggressive but eventually we were given help and our hotel kindly forwarded passport details. After a 40 minute wait we managed to gain access. The site was very interesting and some of the buildings unlike anything I've seen before. The crowds were not too bad either. The audio guide gave some facts but it would have been more interesting to find out about the lives of people living there. Also signage at each area would have helped in understanding exactly what we were looking at as it was sometimes difficult with the audio guide.

Access control at the Alhambra requires visitors to show identification, and this information is included in the communications we send before the visit so customers can prepare the necessary documents in advance. Aside from the overcrowded Alhambra, which does no one any favors with 10,000 people passing through, Nathalia was very attentive, guided us wonderfully, and always made sure we stayed together. She speaks very understandable English, not too quickly, and knew a lot about history to share. She was able to answer advanced questions very well. A friendly and educational event! Nevertheless, those in charge should allow fewer people at the same time!
Watch out for scam I have booked a tour for Thursday, May 15. The date was changed just after cashing in 200 EUR for Thursday, October 15. This is clearly a scam because tickets are neither changeable nor refundable and paying 100 euro per person to go there in October is clearly a scam. This is how they make money in a legal way and they will say that it is the user who has not paid attention.

The experience was very good and the use of the audio guide was comfortable. The only catch was that they didn’t explain the use of the audio guide well, and at one point, my language was changed without me knowing it because I played something I shouldn’t have inadvertently, and I couldn’t put it back in Spanish, so I couldn’t use it again during the rest of the visit.

The content of the audio guide is very good. The visit very satisfactory. What I don't see normal is 50 E being held and a week later I still haven't been bailed. Speed up the procedure, please. And even though there's a phone I haven't gotten the 4 times I've called to get a fix. I also sent an email to the address specified and have not received a reply. Clearly they don't give good service.
They're scammers. They sell you the entrance to the Alhambra complete with an official guide and it turns out that you have neither guide nor complete entrance, since what they sell you is the basic ticket of 12 € at gold price (40 €) and then they do not answer.
I booked Alhambra Palace tickets to include Nasrid Palace with My Top Tours online from the UK prior to arriving in Granada. I received both payment & order confirmation for the tickets I booked, however when the tickets were emailed to me I noticed they didn’t include Nasrid Palace entry. I immediately emailed My Top Tours only to receive a reply informing me that my order reference was only for tickets to Alhambra Palace and that I should provide evidence that I’d booked Nasrid Palace too. I duly responded with copies of the confirmation emails. My Top Tours then chose to ignore me from then on, I subsequently pursued them for a refund, still no response. I ended up having to raise a dispute via my bank. Please use official website for Alhambra Palace, which I did in the end, it’s half the price. I made a mistake and lesson learned.
