Overall a very positive experience considering the phase of the moon. Guide was enjoyable and we were able to see the bioluminescence! Everything went smoothly and company was responsive when contacted.

I wont write whats already been said. This biobay tour company is incredible and professional. We felt safe the whole time. One the trip was my wife and my two daughters ages 11 and 14. It was an easy drive (we rented car from Mayra’s car rental) and drove from our Airbnb from ferry area to Esperzana (easy 18min drive). Make sure to be on time because they will leave you, there is a lot to pack in. Plan in being there 20min before to be safe, we were 5min late thankfully they made an exception but any later they wuld have left. All the workers from tour group were kind, all spoke English, and during the kayak trip had it arranged in a safe manner always checking in on the group. The canoe my wife and daughter were in needed a tow since they were slow which shows they dont leave anyone behind. The biobay was LIT UP! Life changing!! The stars were all out. I would repeat 1000000% again!!! At the end one if the ladies gave my daughters a glow in dark stone as a gift. Dont hesitate and book! We got the 7pm tour would recommend 8pm or later for full experience. But our 7pm tour was excellent still!

Do not book this tour! Horrible customer service. Very inconvenient. 1.5 hr ferry ride to get to the island. They don’t tell you this when booking that the last ferry back is at 9:30pm and they have an 8:00 time slot. Which means if you book it you’re stuck on the island all night! Their customer service is horrible and very unfriendly.

We had a great experience! We took our 4 kid, ages 9-15. The trip was smooth and well organized. Our guide took time to explain the science behind the microorganisms and even brought a light blocking cover for our kayaks to really experience the full effect! If possible, try and go on a night with lots of cloud coverage/minimal moonlight. When the clouds covered the moon, the glow was much brighter. Great bucket list item checked off!

Amazing experience, be sure when you book, that you’ve paid attention to the lunar cycles and the weather as much as as possible. Go whenever there is no moon or a new moon.

Very well organized.. wish we had more time to just paddle vs being all connected most of the time but also get that the winds were high and not everyone is an experienced kayaker. Bay was very neat! Stars spectacular! Timon (I think that was his name?) was an amazing guide! Great conversation and wonderful sense of humor.

Tour was well organized but guides were difficult to understand. Would have liked to learn more about the bioluminescence bay and its history. Overpriced for the quality of the tour

Attempted to get a refund and couldn’t get in contact with anyone until the day of scheduled activity. Viator claimed that the tour refused to refund, the tour said Viator was lying and never spoke to them and Viator could issue a refund. Both parties blamed other party. Tour offered me a free excursion for the family if we ever returned to PR due to Viators actions however we live about 7-8 flight hours away so no chance that’ll get occur. Viator said they called the tour to get refund and your owner said they never did, Viator and the tour also didn’t disclose an important detail that a person would be stuck on an island an hour away with later tour. It was all a mess start to finish. We won’t use Viator ever again.
