Optimer din tid og besøg højdepunkterne i Normandiet på kun én dag. Denne tur er helt privat og designet til tidlige fugle. Fra Mont-Saint-Michel til D-Day-landingen i 1944, lad mig guide dig gennem 1300 års historie.

Når vi ankommer til Mont-Saint-Michel, efter at have passeret gennem midten af landsbyen, begynder vi vores opstigning for at nå klosteret for at beundre den storslåede udsigt over bugten og for at besøge denne struktur bygget fra det 10. århundrede
Efter at have besøgt bjerget, vil det tage os omkring 1 time og 30 minutter at nå Pointe du Hoc, hvor jeg vil fortælle dig historien om Normandiets landgange og bedrifterne fra den 2. amerikanske Ranger Battalion
Vi fortsætter derefter til Omaha Beach, stedet hvor tropperne fra 1. og 29. amerikanske infanteridivision landede. Der er en lille restaurant i Saint Laurent sur Mer, hvor du kan spise frokost
Efter frokost vil det kun tage os 10 minutter at nå frem til den imponerende amerikanske kirkegård i Colleville-sur-Mer. Der vil vi tage os tid til at hylde de helte, der kom for at befri Frankrig og Vesteuropa i 1944
Vores sidste stop bliver landsbyen Arromanches-les-Bains, hvor vi vil gøre et stop for mig for at fortælle dig historien om de kunstige havne bygget af de allierede i foråret 1944. Vi vil kunne se resterne af Phoenix caissons stadig til stede i havet. Derefter tager vi tilbage til din bolig i Normandiet

We had a fabulous day with Marcus & Quentin at Mont Saint Michel. The three of us loved our visit with you and are very grateful for the time and effort you put into the preparation and planning of our day visiting the island. Your punctuality, convenience of a personal pick up, the history video and your knowledge and passion of Saint Michel were very much appreciated. We learnt so much history, soaked up the beauty and enjoyed exploring the abbey. We also enjoyed walking around and learning about Honfleur on our return. Thank you
