Elafonissi Beach Trip fra Chania
Beskrivelse
Langt en af de smukkeste strande på øen, Elafonissi ligger på den sydvestlige kyst. En tropisk effekt er skabt af dens hvide og lyserøde koralsand. Gå til højre for lavt vand i en lille lukket lagune, der er ideel til børnene. En tur gennem lagunen til holmen er mest værd, da du vil opdage denne unikke kystlinje.

Vi stopper ved Agia Sofias grotte, hvor der er muligheder for enten at spise morgenmad eller besøge grotten (257 trin).
En af de bedste strande i Europa med hvidt og pink sand og krystalklart vand. For at nå stranden går vi gennem det beskyttede område (900 meters gang.) Der kan arrangeres en shuttlebus for personer med handicap efter aftale med guiden.
Vi gør et stop ved en hyggelig restaurant i Elos. Tirsdage og søndage tager vi en rundtur retur fra en anden vej, og stoppet er i Amygdalokefali.

Great day trip tot he beach from Chania. Nice stops both way to eat/use restroom. AC on bus worked fine.
Everything about the booking experience was really smooth and easy, with very clear communication throughout. The trip itself was wonderful. Our driver was excellent, we were genuinely impressed by his driving skills! Jo, our guide, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and shared so much interesting history about the island along the way. Even our two nine-year-olds were completely captivated, which says a lot! Everything went smoothly at each of the destinations we visited, and the whole experience was as good as, if not better than, we had hoped for from such popular tourist spots. I would absolutely recommend booking this trip. We had a fantastic day and couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Tour leader are excellent, providing tips & history. The bus was always on time. The stops on the way were excellent. But you should not expect much about the beach. You need to walk nearly 15 minutes after getting off the bus and you can barely see the pink sand. We arrived around 11AM. It was very hot, so crowded and no umbrella or sunbed was available. Many people were just waiting in cafes for departure time because they could not enjoy the beach.
Simona was Avery great and informative guide. Our driver was wonderful too. Next time I would warn that the walk from the bus to beach is about 900m. I probably would have worn runners and not flip flops.
Want to visit one of the world's top beaches and experience the beauty of its famous pink sand? Then this is the tour for you. The journey includes a stop on the way there and another on the return, plus a drive through the mountains that will leave you wondering how a coach can possibly navigate them! The tour guide was informative, and the coach driver was fun and an exceptionally skilled driver. We found that the actual beach time was closer to 3.5 hours, as you need to factor in the walk between the coach drop-off point and the beach. My recommendation is to head straight into the sea as soon as you arrive. It's the quietest time of the day, making it perfect for getting your pink sand photos. Afterwards, walk over to the little island to enjoy the calm, lagoon-like waters and the beautiful view back towards the beach. Then simply relax and make the most of the crystal-clear water—it's an unforgettable experience.
Very nice guided tour! Tour guide Simona, a local, was excellent and had a wealth of knowledge she shared about Crete and Greece. The stop at the cave was cool. Elafonissi beach was absolutely beautiful although more crowded than I expected. Lunch was very good but they had some inconsistencies in their pricing. One main negative thing was the pick up and drop off. There were too many stops to pick up and drop off people. If there was a way to gather more people for fewer stops, would have been so much better overall.

A fairly long trip for 4 hours at a very busy beach. Of course it is peak season but it’s worth knowing that you won’t get a sunbed or any shade. It’s also a long hot walk down to the beach. Having said that, tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable and interesting.
