Du besøger 3 familiedrevne vingårde og smager en imponerende palle af Chianti-vine. Du vil besøge vinmarkerne og vinkældrene og give et nærmere kig på produktionen og ældningsprocessen. Derudover vil du finde ud af mere om hemmelighederne bag en elsket italiensk ingrediens, den ekstra jomfru olivenolie. Udover at smage det bedste udvalg af toscanske vine produceret i boutique vingårde, vil du servere en typisk flerretters frokost. Henter dig fra din bolig i Firenze kl. 9.30. Vores chauffør vil normalt være på din adresse kl. 9.15. Vi kører derefter til den første vingård, som vil tage cirka 50 minutter.
Luiano har produceret vin og olivenolie siden det 9. århundrede. Godset har tilhørt berømte familier fra Firenze, herunder Strozzi. I 1959 overtog familien Palombo ejerskabet af virksomheden og opgav det blandede landbrugssystem. Deres fokus på at dyrke udelukkende vinstokke hjalp dem med at opnå vin af højeste kvalitet. Sangiovese drue repræsenterer den største del af druesort plantet på deres territorium. Den langvarige tradition for vinfremstilling bekræftes af gamle kældre bygget under renæssancen. Her besøger du ejendommen, vingården og vinkældrene, hvor vinfremstilling finder sted, og der vises vine. Derefter vil du nyde en Chianti-baseret vinsmagning med udsigt.
Savignola er en boutique vingård, beliggende i hjertet af Chianti Classico siden 1780, med et vingårdsområde på 5 hektar og en årlig produktion på omkring 22.000 flasker. Savignola, hvis navn har etruskisk oprindelse, blev betragtet som en kristen bosættelse og blev bygget omkring første halvdel af det 17. århundrede. Den er præget af en kvindehistorie og betragtes som en af de historiske virksomheder i området takket være figuren Paolina, som var den første kvinde, der flaskede sin Riserva i en flaske i Bordeaux-stil. Hun bragte innovation til den historiske tradition for Chianti Classico. Ejendommens gamle fadkælder daterer sig tilbage til 1500-tallet, hvor tradition og innovation mødes i produktionen af deres vin. Terroiret består af dyb ler og kalkholdig jord og kræver strengt arbejde for at skabe de perfekte betingelser for at opnå rige, intense og langlivede vine.
Dagens sidste vingård har en pulserende historie. Det er en familiedrevet vingård, der først startede sin produktion i 2012, hvilket kan opfattes i den livlige karakter, der er specifik for unge vine. Men godsets historie går tilbage til slutningen af 1800-tallet, hvor det lykkedes grundlæggeren Gualtiero at købe de første vinmarker i Mercatale Val di Pesa. Efter hans død kom en af hans sønner med en ny vision, plantede nye vinmarker, købte ny jord og en villa fra det 15. århundrede, som blev midtpunktet i ejendommen. Ejendommen ligger i området Chianti Classico Fiorentino og omfatter vinmarker, olivenlunde og skove. Druesorterne er typiske for området, såsom Sangiovese, Colorino og Canaiolo, men også internationale sorter såsom Merlot og Cabernet Sauvignon. Vinkældrene, der blev brugt i 1400-tallet, blev renoveret for at opfylde behovene for moderne vinfremstilling. Derudover er en lade fra det 18. århundrede blevet omstruktureret til at fungere som vinkælder.

Absolutely incredible! This day was our favorite part of an awesome Italy trip. Our guide/driver/sommelier was the best. He was super knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He chose 3 different wineries that were completely different from one another. It was just an all around incredible day in the Chianti countryside. We will be booking this again when we go back.

Amazing day visiting three independent small/medium wineries who are passionate about their product. Completely private for us two with our expert guide Daria who was incredible at not only organising the day but also introducing us to some history of the area. You will leave with a few bottles yourself (you buy them at the wineries) no doubt as the wines were delicious. Grazie Daria and the team.

We had a beautiful day with Pauola on this tour. She picked us up from our hotel right on time and the day could not have been any better. We visited three amazing boutique wineries and as a delicious lunch at the second one. The drive was breathtaking and Pauola took here time. We ended the day with lots of wine and new friends.
