Great food tour Guide was excellent

We had a great time. Our guide Nicholas was very friendly, knowledgable and passionate. The tour was tailored to our food restrictions and remained flexible throughout. The food was amazing and we learned a lot about the city and architecture as well as the food. An afternoon well spent Thanks Nicholas and team

We had an excellent gastronomical tour experience with Mégane. She is a wonderful ambassador for her city. Before coming to Lyon I did not expect to learn so much about the personality of Lyon in addition to its history. And the food tastings were excellent, chocolate, ice-cream, wine and cheese, and a visit to a bouchons restaurant. It was a wonderful tour!

Great food tour. Our guide, Natalie was friendly and knowledgable. We began the tour with different cheeses which were described well and delicious. There was plenty of water and wine offered throughout. Comfortable seating at each stop. We ended the tour with ice cream and had to guess the flavors which was fun! We also got a great overview of the history and culture of the area.

The tour was a great combination of history, food, and fun. Nathalie is an excellent guide who not only made the tour a great experience but also gave me lots of excellent info about 'practical' Lyon. There were only 3 of us on the tour (myself and another couple) which allowed Nathalie to answer all our questions (about the tour or anything else in Lyon) as we went from place to place. It was definitely not a 'just read from the script' tour which I appreciated. I would highly recommend the tour and Nathalie as a guide. (Two informational notes: There is a longer food tour, this was the shorter one. Also, you get a discount on any of the food tours with the Lyon City Card)

What a wonderful tour! Our guide Nathalie was exceptional and so knowledgeable. We spent several hours learning about the history of Lyon and its culinary traditions. The food culture in Lyon is amazing, with so much seasonal produce and artisanal products. We tasted a wide selection of local food and wine including meats, cheeses and ice cream. Highly recommended!

- Perfect combo of food, history, and cultural tidbits - the places we visited were great — felt like I got a feel for both the historical spots in Lyon + modern day shops that locals frequent - tour guide (Natalie) is a great storyteller and presented info in a sticky way. I’m still thinking about the mothers of Lyon, the earth + the know how, the insane time commitment of silk making, and the story of pralines. - group was small enough so it didn’t feel super touristy or like we were an imposition at any spot - Natalie was awesome - personable, informative, engaging - 3 hours flew by. Felt like we were “flaneur-ing”, we stayed on time without feeling rushed

Our food tour with Nathalie was one of the highlights of our visit to Lyon! She has an incredible knowledge of Lyon’s culinary history, local traditions and the stories behind each specialty we tasted. Every stop was thoughtfully chosen, and we enjoyed a wonderful variety of delicious cheeses, charcuterie, wine, praline tart and ice cream. What truly made the experience special was Nathalie herself. She has a fantastic personality - warm, engaging and enthusiastic, which made the tour both informative and a lot of fun. Her passion for Lyon and its food is contagious, and she made everyone feel welcome throughout the experience. This tour was a lot of fun! Our guide (Nathalie) was amazing! She provided so much insight into the food scene, history and culture of Lyon! Our stops for eating/tasting cheeses, meats, desserts and wines were so insightful! Wish we could have a bit more food as we were thinking it would be filling enough for a meal; outside of that the tour was a fabulous experience!
