Excellent! We went on our first day in Edinburgh and it gave u a great overview of the history.
For some reason, I was the only one on the tour that Thursday afternoon. But that meant I got to enjoy a very in-depth and detailed tour of Edinburgh’s Old Town for over two hours. The guide shared insightful and fascinating stories, and I got to see many of the city’s beautiful sights. I highly recommend it.
Really enjoyable tour, Kieran was engaging and able to answer questions, so many intersting facts, I'll have to opt for the three hour tour next time
I had a fantastic experience with James as my tour guide. I happened to be the only one and had a private tour with James. Two hours just flew by. Highly recommend!
Robert was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable and, because I ended up being the only guest on the tour, tailored the tour to my interests. Learned a lot of interesting information and would recommend.
Wonderful experience seeing the sites and learning about the city. James is very knowledgeable and provided great insight on the history. I would recommend this tour for anyone looking to learn more about Edinburgh and wanting to see multiple places.
Robert was a friendly and informative tour guide with lots of interesting anecdotes of early Edinburgh. He bought the place alive for us.
Robert was a great and knowledgeable guide for our tour! We loved his stories, and, as an English degree-holder, I very much appreciated his knowledge of Scottish writers/works and many quotations. Our tour was just my party (we went on a Tuesday afternoon), so we were able to cover a lot in one tour and ask lots of questions. Great way to get a sense of the Old Town and its history within a couple hours. Thanks for a great tour, Robert!
We went on the Old Town tour. Robert, the guide made it super fun as well as having the best stories! He took us through several monuments and historical sites telling different stories about them, full of curious facts. An advantage in Edinburgh is that several of the museums are free, so we were able to visit places that complemented the tour. I recommend going to the writers museum, the pantheon inside the city, the history of Maggie Dickson’s, the museum of Scotland and its terrace for a good view. It's worth it!
Our guide was knowledgable, personable, and charming. He had an entertaining story for every building and street corner.
