The tour was very interesting and we 've seen some highlights of Scotland. Our driver and guide Johnny was excellent and very knowledgeable about the history.

The scenery throughout the trip was stunning, and staying on the Portree made everything very convenient. But what really made the trip special was our guide Scott. He was so funny, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he was sharing with us. Along the way, he told us so many stories about Scottish history, the Highlands, and the places we were visiting. I learned a lot, but it never felt like listening to a history lesson — he made everything interesting and fun. This was my first solo trip, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. But I ended up having such a great time, meeting lovely people, and enjoying every day of the journey. Scott brought such great energy to the group and really made the whole experience memorable. I'll always remember this trip.

I had a wonderful experience on the 3-day tour to the Isle of Skye with Timberbush Tours. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and the tour was a great way to explore the Highlands and Isle of Skye without having to worry about planning everything myself. A special mention goes to our guide, Ann, who made the trip even more enjoyable. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared lots of interesting stories and information about the places we visited. Her enthusiasm and sense of humour created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the tour. The itinerary was well organised, with plenty of opportunities to stop, take photos, and enjoy the stunning landscapes. The Isle of Skye was truly unforgettable, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience the beauty of Scotland. The best tour I have ever experienced and Michelle was the best tour guide I’ve ever had! Easily the most beautiful place(s) I have ever been. The trip was fun and stress free. Michelle was knowledgeable, kind, humorous, and flexible …our group got the absolute most of out of our trip even with unforeseen traffic & weather challenges. We felt very taken care of and would book again in a heartbeat.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience on the three-day Isle of Skye, Highlands & Loch Ness tour, and our guide, Gillian, was truly exceptional! From the very beginning, Gillian was friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and incredibly experienced. Her stories and knowledge of Scotland made the beautiful scenery and places we visited even more memorable. One thing we especially appreciated was what an excellent and safe driver she was. We traveled on many narrow, winding roads, and at times the weather was quite challenging. Through it all, I always felt completely safe and comfortable with Gillian behind the wheel. Three days is a lot of time to spend with a tour guide, and Gillian made every day enjoyable. She was warm, engaging, professional, and genuinely seemed to care that everyone was having a wonderful experience. Gillian is simply one of the best tour guides anyone could ask for. She was a huge part of what made our trip through the Scottish Highlands and Isle of Skye so special. We would highly recommend this tour—and if you’re lucky enough to have Gillian as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic experience!

Having accommodations booked for us was a weight off our shoulders, and not having to drive those twisty, single-lane roads was a relief. Our guide/driver, Johnny, was personable and knowledgeable, patient and kind. One of our favorite parts was chatting with him between activities. It is a long drive between Edinburgh and the Isle of Skye, and the first and third days had a lot of time on the bus, but that is just the nature of the trip. I wish the itinerary had been laid out in more detail on Viator - I booked well in advance and had looked at several tours, so although Johnny was clear each day and described each stop, I wasn't sure what was on the agenda until he told us, and I don't have anything to refer back to (except pictures and my shoddy memory). We saw a lot of the Isle of Skye and it was a memorable experience for all the right reasons!

Johnny was our tour guide. Terrific job. Good guy, well informed, and he really added a lot. The tour was excellent. Saw so much, from mountains to lochs to castles to a distillery. The bus was comfortable and the accommodations were nice. The highlands are beautiful and the Isle of Skye is spectacular.

Be aware that you can be up to 2k from town. I was in a B&B 1k from town, paid solo price and got a tiny room with cot size bed, quite a walk in the Scottish rainy and windy weather. Also dropped off half mile from train station. Tour guide was quiet during long bus ride.

We had an amazing time touring the highlands and skye with Scott. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Would highly recommend this tour to those wishing to visit Scotland.

This 3-day trip is great: everything is easy and well organized. The landscapes are incredibly beautiful. Our guide Seumas made the drive even more beautiful thanks to an endless playlist of Scottish songs!
