Great tour! Steph was so engaging, witty, and funny, telling stories about Scottish history, Edinburgh castle, and everything relevant in between. She kept the group close and spoke loudly, ensuring everyone could hear and stay engaged.
Having visited 61 countries this tour was one of my top 5. Our guide Steph was FABULOUS..th absolute "best of the best".... bright, knowledgeable, engaging, funny and passionate. I highly recommend this tour ... it was the best one I`ve had in years!

There were about twenty of us in the group - I think I was the only British one ! Our guide Steph guided us through the throngs of people on the Royal Mile with her umbrella held high - you certainly saw why something like that was needed, I'd have been totally lost otherwise and as it was I found it difficult to keep up. But the pace calmed down, and it wasn't quite so crowded, once we got inside the Castle grounds. Steph was a mine of information on the history and buildings of the Castle, and there was plenty of humour in her stories as well as the grimmer side of things. She also had hints to give on the most interesting , and the not so good, places to visit, both within the Castle and around the city more generally.
Good informative tour. Max was engaging and good at projecting his voice and storytelling. The walks were not long at all either so it’s a fairly easy tour
