The self guided tour was amazing. We were fitted for bikes and off we went at our pace on the tour. Highly recommend!

Please read before booking: PLEASE GO WITH A GUIDE AND NEVER WHEN ROADS ARE WET/SLICK! .... although this is a beautiful scenic route in the countryside, it is on roads with tour busses, workmen vans, etc. This alone is daunting (especially with narrow roads not large enough for 2-way traffic, and winding roads with blind corners), but with the torrential rain lightening/thunder, the roads were especially dangerous. My partner went down on a downhill curve, ripped his clothes and suffered some nasty roadrash on his leg, etc. Luckily nothing broken. In addition, our GPS map routes would not work due to the rain dumping on the phone screen. We eventually had to pull off the road and ask the company to come and pick us up. They were very apologetic and were kind enough to offer a refund and ride back to our hotel. *on another note.... restaurant they recommend (Villa le Corti) was wonderful... but not typically open Mon/Tues (Luckily the chef was willing to accommodate us)

Quick registration and great directions. We had a wonderful experience on the self guided tour. Beautiful scenery and stops for lunch and wine as gelato. We stopped at a small shot and had wine, beer, olives from their orchard and a lesson on olive oil.

This was a wonderful way to see the Chianti region. The self-guided tour was easy to follow and included many good suggestions. The company was very well-prepared and helpful. Truly a wonderful experience!

Biked as a Family with teens… great way to see the outskirts of Florence and good way to burn some of the Italian food off! Map was easy to follow and great views on the way .

I highly recommend the self-guided e-bike tour. An accessible and exhilarating experience, both fascinating and picturesque. The route was coherently mapped out, with clear instructions. The bikes are top quality, easy to ride and robust. All practicalities were considered - water bottle, phone holder, rain ponchos - as well as excellent recommended stopping points. I advise taking the extended routes, the last part was a great way to reintegrate into the city. Overall a wonderful day out. We will be back.

This was an incredible experience! The self guided tour was great - we did get a little turned around at times and accidentally did the “long route”. (Approx 23 miles) 🤪😅. But the experience was amazing. NOTE - these are e-bikes - NOT motorcycles. You WILL have to peddle and exert quite a bit of energy. Great day, fabulous workout, amazing experience!

The self-guided bike tour was amazing! Riding through vineyards and olive groves. Breathtaking views of rolling tuscan hills, ancient walls, and beautiful villas. We went at our own pace, and did the extra part after lunch. Get an e-bike because there are lots of hills. Pay close attention to the map. It is well done and relatively easy to follow while riding. If you prefer a human guide, they are also excellent.

This activity allows you to move around the vineyards, olive fields and beautiful properties We drive on small roads but also on two-lane roads We chose to follow the longest route without difficulty The return to Florence is breathtaking: magnificent views

Great outfit with top notch bikes. Map was great— could have used a few more arrows and would be even better if it was interactive. They were very thorough and we had a fabulous day. Just note if you are going off season (March) the gelato place and oil tasting were not open. But still we loved it. The scenery was magnificent!
