Beskrivelse
Gør dig klar til at jage vandfald – og lidt eventyr! Hop ind i en SuperTruck og slutter dig til os, mens vi tackler de vilde baglandsveje i Westfjord Highlands, islandsk stil. Vi starter tingene i Ísafjörður, navigerer gennem ikke en, men to underjordiske tunneler (ja, vi går under bjerge), flyver over naturskønne toppe og omfavner kanten af fantastiske fjorde. Vores stjerne attraktion? Den majestætiske Dynjandi vandfald, råber stolt i Arnarfjörður fjord. Vi vil parkere i omkring en time, hvilket giver dig mulighed for at vandre op til dens base for et nærmere kig - eller bare nyde udsigten fra parkeringspladsen, hvis du føler mere "slap af og snack" end "vandring og sved." Hvis forholdene tillader det, afslutter vi turen med en køretur over en af de fantastiske bjergveje, enten Hrafnseyrarheiði eller Álftamýrarheiði, der kun er åbne om sommeren for de modigste eventyrere. Hvis vejene er en no-go, vil vi tunnel vores vej tilbage til Ísafjörður som de underjordiske udforskere vi er.

Her vil du have tid til at gå op til den majestætiske vandfald Dynjandi og høre det tordner råbe op tæt.
Hrafnseyri
En historisk gård med et museum, en kirke tilbage til slutningen af det 19. århundrede, og et café i en græsplæne, hvor du kan få forfriskninger. Hvaler ses ofte fodre ud i fjorden fra dette sted.
Sandafell-bjerget er kendt for det spektakulære landskab fra toppen, og vi anser dette for at være isen på kagen til denne tur. Ingen almindelige turbusser er i stand til at køre op her, men vi gør en nem opgave af det i vores superlastbiler.
Thingeyri
På vej tilbage til Isafjordur tager vi en kort sightseeingtur gennem denne smukke landsby og lærer om dens historie. Hvis tiden tillader det, kan vi stoppe her for en kort tid.

Do it! Truck jealousy from others!
What a fun intimate day seeing beautiful sights in Iceland with a local! Took us places only this cool vehicle could! Don’t hesitate. Such fun!

Five star adventure
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was hands down one of the best ways to spend a day in Iceland! Our guide was incredibly informative and shared so much about Iceland along the way. The highlight was the Super Truck experience itself—off-roading and climbing up into the mountains was absolutely amazing and unlike anything we had ever done before. The scenery was incredible, but being able to explore areas you would never reach in a regular vehicle made the experience even more special. It was adventurous, fun, and a truly memorable way to see Iceland. If you’re looking for something beyond the typical sightseeing tour, I highly recommend a Super Truck excursion. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Worth Every Penny!
The tour, scenery and guide were terrific. Best tour of our 14 day vacation. Engaging and educational narration. The off roading in the Super Truck was awesome and took us to an amazing lookout over the area. Highly recommend this tour!

Best Tour in the Westfjords
100% recommend. This was my favorite tour on our trip. We were on a cruise. They picked us up at the port~ I didn’t need any signage to find them I could see their vehicles from the ship. The waterfall is stunning and is worth the trek. After the waterfall is when it’s time to get off the beaten path and that’s where it really got fun! I would definitely do this trip again and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a day trip in the Westfjords. There was another cruise at the port along with ours (so it was crowded today) …..I DIDN'T SEE ANYONE ELSE OR ANY OTHER VEHICLES GO REMOTELY CLOSE TO WHERE WE WERE ABLE TO GO- that’s what makes this tour so amazing!

Highlight of our trip!
This tour was the highlight of our trip! Our quite (the owner) was fantastic!! Definitely worth the money, and the off-road experience is something you won't get with any regular tour.

A Wonderful Day
We had a fabulous time with Gummi. He is a wonderful storyteller and very kind to share his history and local knowledge of the area. The super truck experience was phenomenal, we climbed and saw great view points that no other vehicle could get to. Would highly recommend the excursion!

Not to be missed!
This was out last tour on a 10 day trip and it did not disappoint! The sights are amazing, but our tour guide, Gummi really made the day! From waterfall hikes and village visits to scaling the steepest peaks in the superjeep - 100/10. Loved it!
