It whas very easy to find our metting point!The local guided tour was very friendly and open to answer to all the extra qurstions and demands from our family part!After we finish the Cathedral Tour he also recomand us some local restsurants!

I reached out a couple hours before to tour operator and had no response. At 4p when tour was supposed to start I got a call that it was cancelled. At that point I could not buy a ticket on my own, they were sold out. I waited in a heat index of over 100 degrees for this tour. I had to leave Milan without seeing the Duomo. I was notified later by an email from Viator that it was cancelled. But despite assurances from the tour operator and Viator I have still not received a refund. Viator has no standards, no authority and no interest in you as a traveler. They allow any tour operator to behave in any way they like and as a traveler you have no protection and no help from them. They are just there to collect the money up front. This is the second time in a month I have had a major issue with one of their tours. I will look for alternatives in the future.

It took us 40 minutes and 3 phone calls to find our tour guide. The original meeting point instructions were all wrong. Viator is very poor at communicating. Viator will use 5 different communication channels. They send texts via SMS, emails, phone calls, messages through the Viator app, and messages through WhatsApp. The information from one channel is totally different from another. This shouldn't be this difficult. We went from one meeting point to another. This has happened multiple times with Viator, they need to get it together. They eventually sent me the correct information via WhatsApp, but I had no way of knowing this. I would not recommend using Viator. Go directly to a local tour company. Save money, time and hassle.

I had problems identifying the tour guide among the hundreds of people near the Duomo museum, he was only wearing a lanyard. I thought this was a guided tour throughout but the guide was only in the Duomo, not the museum, terraces or crypt. I had to rush around the Duomo museum as was only given 30 minutes in there on my own and would have liked longer. We also could not go behind the alter as that was closed. The radios were poor quality, not very loud and as soon as the tour guide went further than 5 meters away they broke up. It was a bit of a let down really.

It was the only company who managed to offer us a complete Guided Tour of Duomo di Milano in a week with sold out entry tickets. Thank you FlipFlopAdventures staff for saving our trip!

Tour was cancelled last minute. Partial refund received as well as the tickets so we were able to self tour. Stefano was quick about getting the tickets and refund to us.

We were scammed. The instructions for the meet up point were outdated. By the time we reached the operator, we were told the tour had left and that we would be able to do it the next day. We were given a new meeting point. When we arrived the next day, we where told by the supplier of the tickets that the tour we paid for was no longer available and that we should request a refund from Flipflop tours and purchase a new ticket from the supplier. The Flipflop person who apparently is not even in Italy refused to issue the refund. We decided against buying another $200 in tickets. Bottom line: we did not see the Duomo from the inside, we lost $230 and a few hours. Disappointing and upsetting experience.

I think this is a total racketeering scam, flipflop travelers in Milano. Do now buy anything from this tour provider, he pretended we were late and the tour had already left after giving us a wrong meeting point and saying that we were supposed to be there at 10:50. He pretended to exchange the tour for the day after except for there were no tickets to the main part of the tour… and then his colleagues tried to sell us tickets for the whole thing because they had other tickets for another couple of hundred bucks.

The tour didn't take place. We found out 20 minutes before it was supposed to start when we couldn't find the meeting point and called the number that had been provided. Of course, we couldn't book another tour on such short notice and therefore couldn't visit the cathedral. I think further comment is unnecessary. Let's see if the promised refund actually arrives…

I believe I know a bit of history till I see it whith my own eyes.The tour guide Marius just show me and knowledge me i was not even close to the Italian history. That's a fact and I recommend to everyone.Thank you guys...!!!
