Efter at vi har sejlet fra den gamle byhavn, passerer vi bymuren. Bymuren i Dubrovnik, der omgiver den gamle bymidte, blev bygget som et forsvarssystem. I dag er de en af de mest populære attraktioner i Dubrovnik, såvel som det bedst kendte Dubrovnik-monument beskyttet af UNESCO. Dubrovniks bymure betragtes som et af de største og bedst bevarede middelalderlige fæstningssystemer.
Vi vil passere ved Lovrjenac fæstning, der skiller sig ud fra resten af byens mure.
Dubrovnikbroen, bygget i 2004, lyser op om natten og forbinder to dele af byen. Under broen er hvor floden Ombla møder Adriaterhavet.

The boat left much to be desired. The ride was beautiful but I expected the "captain" to tell us something and give us some indication or at least there was some music. We were a dozen people and we were an hour in absolute silence. The sunset was wonderful.

A surreal experience, felt like I was in a film. Really loved it. Just an FYI, that it take you to the new port but not back so may be worth planning a route home. Excellent value. We went on the 8.15 cruise in September so the sun had set which meant you didn’t see much of Dubrovnik but the lights of the city were very pretty. The experience is more about being on the boat itself. If you want to see more than just pretty lights and a fantastic boat, I would recommend the earlier trip. Drinks on board are quite expensive but it is a short trip.
