This is a great tour if you are interested in history and a walking tour of this area of Dublin. Martin was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would not take this tour if you are looking for a strictly culinary experience.

This was a good way to start off our holiday in Dublin. Maura was knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. We greatly enjoyed our time with her. We highly recommend this tour to learn some history and get a taste of Baile Átha Cliath!

This was a great experience, our guide, Andrew, was excellent. Thr tour is as much about the history of Dublin as it is about thr food.
Fergus (tour guide) was very knowledgeable and took us to several delicious cafes & restaurants around Dublin. He also gave us a historical overview of the city!

We would also note that, as mentioned in your review, you chose to leave the tour after visiting the Book of Kells and before the Dublin Castle portion of the experience. As a result, you unfortunately missed a significant part of the tour, including the fascinating historical narrative surrounding the Dublin Castle District, over 800 years of English administration in Ireland, the unique Lady Justice statue, the Castle precincts, and the stories that connect these landmarks to Ireland's journey to independence. You also missed the remainder of the guided walk through historic Dublin, which forms an important part of the overall experience. While purchasing admission to the Book of Kells independently may suit visitors wishing simply to view the exhibition, our tour is designed for guests who want a much deeper understanding of Dublin's history, culture, and heritage. The expert commentary provided throughout the experience is intended to bring these remarkable sites to life in a way that a self-guided visit cannot. Thank you again for sharing your feedback.
