This tour gives you the best coverage of MV and the most fun experience as well! Second time we have taken out of town friends (we live in Orescitt, AZ) and they LOVEd the tour!
This was a fantastic tour and a good deal including an off road jeep tour, delicious Navajo dinner, and awesome cultural performances. You get a much greater appreciation of Monument Valley by going off road with a local guide. Our kids loved it!
We had an awesome adventure! Our guide, Jamie, was amazing at filling in history, landmarks, photos and we even got a small concert. We travelled through private jeep areas and saw formations the public didn’t have access to. The dancing experience was incredible. Highly recommend this tour.
We had an absolutely wonderful time with Simpson's Trailhandler Tours. From start to finish, everything was perfect: beautiful landscapes, impeccable organization, and a very friendly atmosphere. A huge thank you to our driver and guide Jemy, who was simply exceptional. During the three hours spent together, he made us experience many very pleasant moments in the car, with a lot of humor, kindness, and passion. We greatly appreciated everything he did to make this excursion lively, interesting, and authentic. Thanks to him, we discovered Monument Valley in a unique way, while learning more about Navajo history and culture. The dinner in the canyon, the traditional demonstrations, and the magnificent landscapes made this experience even more memorable. Each excursion is different, but ours was perfect from start to finish. We leave with our heads full of memories and beautiful photos. We recommend this agency wholeheartedly and extend a big thank you to Jemy and the entire team for this wonderful adventure. Franck and Marie-Christine – France 🇫🇷
Great experience! Appreciated Cody's knowledge, sense of humor, and the great pictures he took for our family. Many opportunities to ask questions to deepen our own understanding of Monument Valley and the local culture. Appreciated the storytelling and dancing, and Navajo tacos were a hit for our family. Note that the ride can get dusty; be sure to bring sunglasses and a bandana or neck gaiter.
This was a wonderful tour that we did!! Our tour guide was Cody and he did an amazing job! Very informative and very personable with us all on the tour. The food was good and so was the traditional dance! My husband and I had a great time and we highly recommend this tour. You get to see so much more because on this tour, you get to take private roads that the regular self drive car tour can not travel on.
Had an amazing time. Jamie was our tour guide, funny and informative. His love of the land and his people was very evident. Enjoyed the sunset ride to see all the features. We booked the dinner and dance package and were fascinated by the conversations with the elder and the dancing by his son Levi. Food was good too! We learned a lot about the Navajo Nation and were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommend this tour!
A bit disappointed! An experience that looked appealing on paper but was ultimately a bit far from the beautiful images: only one dancer and an atmosphere that lacked warmth. A storytelling that did not highlight this beautiful culture, a change of guide in the middle, a pickup far from our hotel, and everything sometimes felt a bit rushed or included stops that did not make sense and lasted too long, failing to showcase this beautiful culture once again. Monument Valley is, however, magnificent! It's a pity that it is a bit too commercial.
This was an excellent tour. One of the best experiences we’ve had here on our southwest trip. Cody was great. He was very informative about the area and his culture, helped us take amazing pictures, and was an all around wonderful guide. The dinner and dancer were also great. You will not regret taking this tour.
The tour was great; in a small group of 4 people overall, it met expectations. We would have just appreciated having a bit more explanation about the rock paintings, as well as a viewpoint for the sunset, but the experience is truly magical. The meal was very good, the 3 songs and dances allowed us to immerse ourselves in Navajo culture. The intimate setting pleased us a lot, far from the packed vans, and Cody allowed us to enjoy our meal and show away from the crowd as much as possible. 🙏👌
