Irla tempel er dedikeret til Lord "Vishnu", et af Delhys ældste og storslåede tempel. Det højeste tårn i templet når en højde på 165 fod, mens de tilhørende tårne når 116 fod. Geeta Bhavan, en hall er prydet med smukke malerier, der viser scener fra den indiske mytologi. Der er også et tempel dedikeret til Buddha i dette kompleks med freskomalerier, der beskriver hans liv og arbejde. Hele komplekset, især væggene og det øverste galleri, er fuld af malerier udført af kunstnere fra Jaipur i Rajasthan. Den bageste del af templet er udviklet som et kunstigt bjerglandskab med springvand og vandfald.
Akshardham tempel er det største tempel i Delhi, som er smukt dekoreret med udskårne statuer af dansere, guddomme, fauna, flora og andre. Dette tempel er bygget med Rajasthani sandsten (lyserød farve) og italiensk Carrara-marmor. Dette tempel har 234 søjler, 2000 guddommelig statuer, ni kupler og meget mere. Templet rummer 148 livestørrede elefantstatuer, der vejer i alt 3000 tons. Den centrale kuppel indeholder den største guddom, Swaminarayan. Guddommen er omgivet af mange statuer lavet med en sammensætning af fem forskellige metaller. Der er INGEN gebyr for at komme ind i templet, men hvis man ønsker at se noget show, dokumentar, vil gebyret være gældende. Da dokumentarshowet tager 3 timer, så viser vi ikke det samme, da vi har begrænset tid.
Dette omkring 400 år gamle Jain-tempel er i mørkerød farve, hvilket giver det sit navn, som bogstaveligt talt betyder et rødt tempel. Dette fantastiske og store tempel har 3 gigantiske trekantede toppe, og arkitekturen er simpelthen fascinerende.

A must for those who love to get soaked under the spirituality. Also the architecture and the surroundings are so calm and touch your soul. Nicely arranged tour with comfortable car along with driver. they also sent a warm host along to ensure smooth entry and exit to the temples.

Temples in old delhi were ancient and yet preserved in their pristine form. Devotees were thronging the temples for paying obeisance to the deity. Walking down the road was also fabulous

Plenty of big and important temples in a mega city of Delhi is quite impressive, people here are so devout. We visit important and big one of them and enjoyed the architecture and blessed spots

Huge temples with good visitor count, nice to see devotees dressed in their traditional attires. One of the temple was centuries old

Temples had great architecture and good ambience also, it was so spiritual to visit them. Also a couple of them were so old having a lot of history behind too
