My wife and I really enjoyed the tour. Very insightful experience with a balance of history of Bern and Switzerland, as well as stories on what makes Switzerland and the Swiss unique. Besides the actual walking tour, Bartos gives tips to further explore the city of Bern and other parts of Switzerland. Highly recommended!

It was raining and we did not see our guide. We sent him messages. He replied. But we did not see him.
This review does not reflect what actually happened. Before the tour, you asked whether you could cancel because of the rain. I told you that I was happy to agree to a cancellation if you preferred but that the tour itself would still take place despite the weather. You arrived at the meeting point 6 minutes after the scheduled starting time. After you asked where I was, I replied 5 minutes later and sent you updated locations so you could join the group. I also gave you my personal WhatsApp number and tried to call you but the call went directly to voicemail. During the tour, I wrote to you several times through the chat with updated locations and information about where we would be next but I did not receive any further response from you. The tour took place normally with the other guests and afterwards I even submitted a request for you to receive a refund. There is a complete conversation history documenting the messages, locations and timestamps.
The guide was very knowledgeable and fun. Great perspective on Swiss culture and history with current events thrown in.
A nice walking tour with a lot of history. our guide was great. I thought it was a great value compared to the cost of some other tours. The timing was great to do this tour on our way from Zermatt to Zurich - we stored bags at the train station

Great way to get an orientation to the city and culture of Bern. Our guide handled the group well and made sure everyone was included. He was a great storyteller. He also provided a nice online document afterwards with some in-depth recommendations and local tips.
I’ve done many walking tours in Europe and this tour is one of the best so far. My friend and I learned so much about the history and politics of Bern and Switzerland in just 2.5h (it felt way shorter as Bartos was a really engaging guide). It was also 34 degrees out when we visited and Bartos was really attentive - he prepared spare umbrellas/fans/water for participants and included pit stops during the tour. 100% would recommend to anyone thinking of signing up. - The two girls from Singapore
