The hosts were wonderful, and the food marvelous. We were given an extremely warm welcome, and enjoyed the conversation throughout the four course meal.
The couple that hosted us were awesome. She was a great cook and used only fresh natural ingredients from her garden, olive tree grove and the farmers market. Meal was amazing outdoors on the family's country house/olive tree grove.
Silvana was a perfect host during our visit to the Marche region. We wanted to experience an authentic local meal, and Silvana made sure we had a full authentic experience as well. We enjoyed a variety of local dishes, which were served in the cool shade of their garden. The food was honest, local, delicious and obviously made with love by Silvana. She is quickly learning English, and her husband Stefano was able to translate the trickier bits of our Australian English for her, so we could have lovely conversations with them both as we ate our meals. We felt so relaxed after our long lunch, we wished we could have stayed longer so we could have an afternoon sleep in the shade of their ancient olive trees. Thank you Silvana for the great experience!
The chef and her family welcomed us warmly and throughout the entire evening we felt that we were with old friends and the laughing never stopped. The food was absolutely delicious and very particular to Pesaro. We had a lot of fun helping make the passatelli and appreciated that the meal used lots of local ingredients right out of the back yard. Even the olive oil was homemade and extraordinary.
