Diani Beach: Bådtur med glasbund med undervandsshow

Denne bådoplevelse vil hjælpe dig med at fordybe dig i den lokale kultur, Diani-samfundet og deres unikke gæstfrihed. Lokalbefolkningens varme, når de guider dig gennem vandet, forklarer dig om fiskeriet og derefter til sandbanken. Glasbåden giver dig en flot udsigt over det marine liv i Diani. Vores erfarne kaptajn/bådoperatør arrangerer et show. Kaptajnen vil smide et stykke brød eller mad i havet og derefter dykke ned under den glasbundede båd og tiltrække særlige fiskearter, som ikke må fiskes efter en lokal aftale af alle fiskere og bådoperatører. Så vil fiskene blive tiltrukket af glasbåden og skabe et spektakulært show. Båden har et øvre rum, som besøgende trygt kan klatre op og har meget spektakulære udsigter og billeder. Når båden har lagt til ved sandbanken, vil gæsterne feste i 45 minutter eller slappe af i sandet.

We had the glass boat expérience in Diani. The team was very lovely and we liked Robinson Island and its crystaline waters. We saw the fishes and aquatic creatures that evolve in the ecosystem. However, we think that the whole experience should be more respectful of the ecosystem. Feeding the fish with bread to attract them is harmful, as well as touching them just for show. Furthermore, the water was very shallow and we were repeatedly touching the corals that for reminder are very fragile. The corals being almost dead in the area, i think it would be more interesting to focus on educating the guests on its preservation, and first of all by showing the example of what to do and not to do. Not just do whatever will please the tourists more.
Perfectly as advertised. No lore or less. Knowledgeable captain and navigator willing to show and explain things. Friendly and welcoming.
The snorkeling was alright, but the staff simply staffed us like sardins in a can, and had no particular interest in disclosing where we were heading or what the plan was.

Was picked up on time from my hotel. Went to the beach and got on the boat. Made 2 stops to pick up other tourists and then we got out on the “deeper” waters. Good guides who showed us lots of interesting creatures such as sea cucumber and sea spiders. Those who wanted to could swim and look at all the beautiful fish- they were plentiful. And we spendt a little time on an “island”- is is only there pending the tides. My guide made sure I got safely back to my hotel. Was a very pleasent afternoon.
wonderfull experience by the well organized kaaribu experience we really had fun from the airport pick up to the destination and back ,i would definety do it again with Kaaribu.
