Gå ud over overskrifterne og udforsk den virkelige Dharavi på vores Dharavi Slum Tour med lokale beboere, der kalder det hjem. Oplev dens blomstrende små industrier, stærk følelse af fællesskab og hverdag. Ledet af et ansvarligt rejseselskab, støtter denne tur direkte lokale udviklingsinitiativer. Du vil se en bred vifte af forretningsaktiviteter: genanvendelse, keramik, broderi, bageri, sæbefabrik, læderbrænde, poppadom-fremstilling og mange flere. Vi besøger også boligområderne. Du vil se det fællesskabscenter, der drives af vores NGO Reality Gives, som finansieres gennem overskud fra ture. Vi afhenter dig fra dit hotel og fører med bil til Dharavi. Hvis du bor i South Mumbai (f.eks Colaba, Marine Drive) vil vi passere forskellige historiske områder af interesse og vi vil stoppe ved Dhobi Ghat, den største åbne luft vaskeri i verden. Hvis du bor i det nordlige Mumbai som Bandra eller Juhu, så går vi direkte til Dharavi.

Når vi rejser til Dharavi i bil, stopper vi og ser verdens største udendørs vaskeri. Vi vil se dhobiwallaherne, eller vaskerne, skrubbe lagner fra Mumbais største hospitaler og hoteller på dette travle vaskeriområde i det fri!
Gå en tur gennem de smalle gader og stræder i Dharavi og opdag de forskellige samfund fra alle regioner og religioner i Indien såvel som de mange små industrier som broderi, bageri, sæbefabrik, lædergarvning, poppadom-fremstilling
