We had an amazing 4 hour private guided tour with Yuki in July. He was prompt, very courteous, knowledgeable and accommodating all through the trip. We visited 3 attractions in about 4 hours and enjoyed all of them.

Shuhei is such an excellent and flexible tour guide with a rich knowledge of all Tokyo landmarks as well as local lifestyles. As a first timer in Tokyo, I wouldn't have found myself using subway and exploring all go-to places (e.g. Hamarikyu gardens, Meiji Jingu and Shibuya crossing) if I hadn't been with him. Shuhei was our guide. He was amazing and planned an awesome day filled with wonderful places to see for our first trip to Japan. He asked about what we liked and anything that we definitely wanted to see. He adjusted as needed and went at our pace. He was very attentive to my mom since she is older and moved a little slower. It was an awesome day and grateful for the knowledge and history Shuhei was able to share with us. The place he picked for lunch was great and provided a true Japanese experience.

We initially booked Kaz for May 25th for a full day tour of Tokyo for 4 friends. Based on the in depth planning texts we were sharing, we also booked Kaz for May 24. We had 2 very full days that were each unique and wonderfully scenic and fun. On May 25 we saw iconic temples and shrines, a cute, purposely lesser known area of Tokyo to glimpse how the locals live, and ended our jam packed day at Team Lab for an interactive electronic experience that is not to be missed! Kaz handled our schedule with aplomb, making sure we saw everything we wanted to, making sure we had as much time as we wanted at each site, and getting us to our destination timely. His work before we even saw him paid off in spades about putting in our day exactly what we wanted, most of which was suggested by Kaz. Highest recommendation from all 4 of us!

Shuhei was beyond outstanding. He contacted us well in advance so that we could let him know what sites we were interested in seeing in order for him to be prepared. Not only did he make sure that we saw everything on our wish list, but he went out of his way to make sure that we experienced local sites, as well as off the beaten path sites, that we never would have thought of on our own...which turned out to be some of the most memorable highlights of our tour. The local restaurant that he took us to for lunch wasn't fancy, but the tempura shrimp that we had was delicious and cooked to perfection (and I am an extremely picky eater). The restaurant was plain and simple, but to be honest, I don't think we had any meal as delicious during the following 2 weeks that we were touring Japan. During our tour, we experienced subway transit and train transit multiple times. It blew us away to see how impeccably clean and how zero graffiti existed...anywhere! Shuhei was a fountain of information explaining anything and everything as we walked along. By the time the tour was over, we were ready to adopt him and his lovely wife (who we hadn't met but felt like we had). He's just very personable, easy to relate to, and genuinely out to please. His English is impeccable, so no worries about miscommunication. And, he even kept in touch with us afterward. The next day we experienced an earthquake followed by a tsunami alert while still in the hotel. The day before, he had mentioned how frequently they have earthquakes. I sent him a text asking if he had scheduled that just so that we had the opportunity to get the WHOLE Japan experience...LOL I would definitely, without hesitation, hire him again! (Best advice, make sure to wear super comfortable shoes because there is a lot of walking involved...but well worth it)
