Booked this for the “small group skip the line” , tour group was 20 including the guide and we waited on a line outside in extreme heat for about 30 min to enter the museum to see David. Once inside our guide gave an excellent tour of David. We did skip the line at the Duomo. Perhaps due to the size of the group , people were not kept engaged other than viewing David, other than that it felt like it dragged on and was definitely not worth the price. Visit these sites but find another tour. Also if you are not climbing the dome, a tour that views from outside would probably be sufficient.
It was an informative tour with an extremely knowledgeable guide who explained everything about all of the prominent art and architecture. We also were admitted quickly into ticketed areas such as the Duomo and Accademia. Just what I was hoping for!
There is no greater feeling than seeing the line for the duomo wrapped around the entire block in the summer heat…. And being able to skip the line into the side entrance with your tour group! This tour was so great! Eris our guide, a true local, was amazing. With the heat and information, Eris was so knowledgeable, personable and funny! There were kids on our group and she did an amazing job at keeping them engaged as well! Eris was also our professor in teaching us how to decipher which gelato shops were authentic and which were fake filled with air! We are pros now and have Eris to thank for that and such an amazing tour. We would definitely recommend this tour and ask for Eris!
Gives a good overview of the most historic sites in Florence. Radio reception was a little hard to hear at times. Helps with bypassing the long lines which is a bonus when it’s hot outside.
Angelo is a great guide. Passionate about his work! Very knowledgeable and inclusive with the tour. He provides interesting and valuable information about not only the landmarks, but also the city and history of Firenze. He was also willing to recommend key dining tips to offer an authentic dining experience while in Florence. Highly recommend!
Gulia, our guide, was amazing! Very funny & knowledgeable! Always kept us in the shade when possible due to heat of 95f degrees. She shared great info about art, culture & history of Firenze!! The best tour we’ve taken in Italy!

Our guide (Christiano) is an exceptional guide. He was able to help us appreciate in exceptional ways many works of art and monuments of Florence. Of course, Florence itself is stunning, but with his insightful comments, everything comes to life! In such a short visit, art, architecture, and sociology finally take on a dimension for me! Thank you very much for allowing us to experience this!
They must have left early as we did not find them. Tried to find them at the David museum but they were not there. Sent messages and called the number on Viator with no reply. Then called viator and they could not get ahold of the tour operator. We had to purchase seperate tickets to see the statue of David and now they are refusing to issue a credit for this tour.
