Denali Experience Flightseeing Tour fra Talkeetna

The only day we had available for this happened to bring rain and low clouds all dang day. We are updated constantly with the conditions, continually asked if we wanted to refund, rebook for later in the day, or the next day. We pushed back our reservation multiple times with no hassle to try and catch the sun (it didn't happen). We ultimately had to cancel and get a refund since we didn't have another day. I was completely happy with the updates and attempts to get us in. That is why I am 5 starring an event that we didn't even get to do. This company rocks and is very much a pleasure to deal with.

This is a must do if you come to alaska! The Views are amazing and cannot be explained with words. K2 Aviation did a great job and special thanks to our pilot Ben you did an outstanding job has answering our questions handling the plane with perfection. Again I would highly recommend you will not regret it.

This is an amazing flight viewing Denali and so many glaciers. Very awe inspiring and our pilot/guide Ben was amazing.

The admission fee was significantly higher through TripAdvisor than if I had booked directly through the company. Trip Advisor did not offer standard discounts that the company offers direct to it's customers.

The flight was spectacular! We enjoyed it so much! The pilot was very experienced and we felt completely safe with him. Hd have us a wonderful experience!

This was THE best experience ever! I was in a very small plane with 2 other passengers and had the pleasure to sit next to our pilot. The views and the information during the flight were incredible! I can highly recommend this and not landing on the glacier was my pick because I‘m a little scared of the height. So this is then a good choice if you still want to explore the Denali and glaciers from the top. Thank you so much!

The views of the Alaska Mountain Range and Mount Denali were, without question, the crown jewel of our Alaska trip. Check-in at the K2 Aviation terminal in Talkeetna was quick and easy. After a short wait of about 15 to 20 minutes, we boarded the plane and were soon on our way. There were eight passengers on board, not including the pilot, and everyone had a window seat. We could not have asked for a more perfect day - bright sunshine, clear skies, and no clouds. The views were absolutely spectacular. Snow-capped peaks, deep valleys, and glaciers stretched out in every direction. The grandeur of the mountains is almost impossible to put into words. Flying past Mount Denali and seeing its peak at eye level was an unforgettable experience. We had signed up for the glacier landing, and the pilot made a smooth landing on the snow. Once we stepped out of the plane, I was struck by how small we felt amid the vastness of the snow-covered landscape around us. With the bright sun reflecting off all the white snow, it actually felt warmer on the glacier than it had at the airstrip. I was also very glad I had put on the shoe covers before boarding, as the snow was easily a foot to a foot and a half deep. We spent about half an hour in the snow-covered valley before boarding the plane for the return flight to Talkeetna. On the way back, I had the chance to sit up front as co-pilot, and the view from the cockpit was simply amazing. My only suggestion would be for the pilot to provide a bit more information about the mountain range and some of the history surrounding Denali. Even with headphones on, the plane was quite noisy, and there was not much opportunity to ask questions during the flight. That said, this was by far the highlight of our Alaska vacation. The views, the glacier landing, and the sheer scale of Denali made this an experience we will never forget.

This was our first trip to Alaska - 8 of us celebrating my sister’s 50th wedding anniversary. Our flight seeing tour was the highlight of our Alaska trip! K2 staff and our pilot were all great! The flight was so smooth and, though we were unable to land on the glacier due to weather, the flight was awesome thanks to our pilot! We even saw the top of Denali! Don’t miss this adventure!

We flew with Riley. He did a great job giving us time to take lots of photos. It was a beautiful day in June. We weren't certain how to dress. It was actually colder on the flight than when we stepped out on the glacier. It was quite an experience and the views were amazing.
