We attended the 5pm walk and our tour guide was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was cooler in the afternoon to walk around and we saw so many of the sites and the fabulous stories associated. Definitely worth doing

We have done a few walking tours around Europe. This was excellent, informative, intetesring, amusing, and well organised with a small group. Douglas is probably the best storyteller and guide out there. Good value for money.

Douglas was simply amazing! In his native Scottish accent describing the history of Valleta and the anecdotal stories was a real treat. Tour was great - but he made it excellent and memorable! Super job!

This was a great way to learn about Valetta. Without this tour, we would have wondered around for a bit, aimlessly with no appreciation for the town. Matteo was a great guide. He speaks fantastic English and knows a great deal about the history. Highly recommend.

Julia gave the best city walking tour I have ever had. Her enthusiasm for the subject and her love of her city really came through. Her deep understanding of art and history brought the city to life for my daughter and me. And she really knows how to tell a story, whether amusing or poignant, she nailed the landings with the grace of the best Hollywood scriptwriters. Relatedly, it took us only a few minutes to independently figure out of whom she reminded us…indeed she is the Maltese Julia Roberts!! Really an exceptional tour guide! Made our trip!

This tour was a very good overview of the storied history of Malta and Valetta. Unfortunately it was over 90 F and for some reason the heat and sun hit me hard and I had to tap out about 2 hours into the 3 hour tour. The guide was excellent. There is very little climbing/stairs, essentially a nice flat walk.

You need Julia as your guide Her historical knowledge combined with contemporary changes in Malta made the walk both interesting and informative

Really enjoyed this tour, we had arrived the previous day and wanted to Know more about Malta. Julia was very knowledgeable and super engaging - we learnt so much about the history but in a full way. She also kept us out of the sun on a hot day which was much appreciated. Highly recommend this tour.

Douglas was a phenomenal tour guide. He gave a very clear overview, and he explained each step in the tour so we were all very clear on what we would see, where we would go, etc. He was very informative and knowledgeable. We had plenty of questions for him which he answered with ease. He gave a brief break for water / drinks / restroom which was helpful as it was a hot day. He was entertaining and gave great history of Malta which was my favorite aspect. I highly recommend this tour!
