Rejseplan

What a great tour! Oscar was fantastic! He kept the whole group entertained not only with interesting history facts but also with a great sense of humor that made the tour of 2,5 hours fly in time. Highly recommend Oscar as your guide.
Juan (from Porugal) did s great tour! Entertaining and informative!
Oscar was very good and very knowledgable about the subject matter. Have a new understanding of the history of Hague.
You can get this tour for free. It is a free tour, but Viator sells it. When we got there, there was a sign that said free tour.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry if the booking process was not completely clear. We are definitely not a scam. The €3 is a booking fee to reserve your spot on the free walking tour. This helps us keep the tours running, manage group sizes, and reduce no shows, so the guide can give everyone a better experience. The €3 is not meant to be the full price of the tour. Our tours are tip based, which means you join the tour first and at the end you decide yourself what the experience was worth to you. The guide may ask for a tip, but the amount is completely up to you. So yes, if you want to join the tour, please book your spot, come along, enjoy the walk, and afterwards you can tip the guide based on your experience.
Our guide, Joha, was incredibly nice and knowledgeable but we were expecting more walking, exploring, and details on the buildings, and architecture. We didn’t get too many steps in but he did relay the history of the area. The city in itself has a lot of cool old buildings with interesting history. We ended up looking up the history in some of these places on our own afterwards. Maybe Europeans don’t find such things as interesting because they are constantly surrounded by history, but being a North American I was expecting a little more.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very happy to hear that you found Joha incredibly nice and knowledgeable. We’re sorry to hear that the tour did not fully match your expectations. We understand that, especially when visiting from North America, the historic buildings and architecture can be a major highlight, and we appreciate your point that you would have liked more walking, exploring, and architectural detail during the tour. Your feedback is very helpful for us. We will take it into account so we can create a better balance between storytelling, local history, walking, and the beautiful buildings that make the city so special. Thank you again for joining us, and we hope you still enjoyed discovering the city. Best regards, Guided Tour Holland
Oscar was fabulous! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining. A great way to get to know The Hague. He told us interesting stories of the history of the city. Highly recommend!
Very well. Lots to see and opportunities for walking
Ronald was an amazing, fun & knowledgeable guide, who has lived in Den Haag for many years. We thoroughly enjoyed the walking trip and would highly recommend.
Niels was a very knowledgeable guide with a good sense of humour. It was a comprehensive and enjoyable tour.
We had a great tour with Maurits our guide who was very knowledgeable about the history but also had some local anecdotes with a great sense of humour, he looked after the group making sure everyone was ok and keeping up. The weather wasn't great but he had some spare umbrellas just in case. And there were many opportunities to take pictures! Make sure you have cash ready in case you want to tip, which the guide does not ask for or expect, but you will probably want to!
