100% lokalt drevet, licenserede guider!

Fun tasty walking tour, Dave was super nice and well informed
Amazing tour with Emily! We enjoyed our time exploring the food and history behind the Marche Jean Talon and surrounding neighborhoods. Emily was engaging and informative providing great history of Toronto and how the food of the area has thrived! We loved all the stops and highly recommend this while you are in Toronto!!
Dave was absolutely fabulous, we had a fantastic time
This was an amazing tour! Great food, a little history, and some great stories about the Montreal beyond the normal tourist stops. Our guide Jesse was fantastic! He weaved together the food, culture, and history of Montreal and three hours flew by. This is a great tour for everyone. Book now and enjoy!! June 2026
This was a fun tour to local businesses and an open-air market. Every sample was delicious, and it was nice to hear the stories behind some of the businesses. Very clever to end at the chocolate shop. That’s where I spent most of my “fun money.” 😜
Very informative experience. Went to areas we would not have found ourselves. We learnt the history of some of the restaurants which was nice to find out. Jesse was very personable and shared lots of interesting facts! Tasted local foods, many of which we may not have tried or found ourselves.
Jesse was a fantastic and personable guide who told great stories. The food was eclectic and delicious. I will recommend this tour to anyone coming to Montreal.
Chris was a fun and knowledgeable guide. So many good tastes! The market was the highlight, we went back for more after the tour.
Glad you enjoyed . Thanks for choosing the only locally food tour company at the market! Always happy to read these 😊
Very pleasant experience. Wonderful guide, Mel, good tastings & good company! Loved the Jean Talon Market! Quite a few tastings all in one spot which was very welcomed, since we did a lot of walking before the tour. I love food tours!
Such a great tour to get an in depth visit of the vendors at the market as well as the businesses in the surrounding neighbourhoods. Glad you enjoyed your time with Mel, she’s a gem!
Chris was an excellent tour guide. He was so sweet and friendly, and made an effort to get to know everyone. He really cared about the places we visited and neighborhoods we were in because he lived nearby. Each place was hand-picked as a small, local business, usually single family run, and there was a wide variety of foods to try. We also had a bit of time in Jean Talon market which was the cleanest and most orderly market I’ve ever been in. I ended up buying several things to go that we tried along the tour. The pupusas was a highlight and a great start. The charcuterie board, the salmon samples, and the dips from the fatoush girls were excellent. We learned a lot from Chris, and it felt like hanging out with a friend for the day. I chose this tour because it was “off the beaten path” and explored different neighborhoods and foods than the traditional Montreal bagel, sandwich, and poutine that all the other tours seemed to be doing, and it did not disappoint! The subway was an easy and cheap way to get there, or you can rideshare, because it’s out of the normal “tourist” zone. Absolutely loved this tour and highly recommend it.
Love this detailed review! From mom and pops to high end bean to bar chocolates and small market farmers/ vendors. Their stories is what brings this all together. We’re so lucky to have great guides like Chris! Thanks for supporting a local company that supports local companies!
