Not really a lot of tasting during the tour. Tour in very crowded area. Saw many shops with about anything you can think of.

Amazing tour of Sowcarpet - Rajesh was a great guide, who introduced us to loads of new foods and explained all of the different things that we saw. The food was all amazing, and gave us a real insight into the sheer variety of street food which exists in Chennai - the Vada pav and sugar cane juice were particular highlights!

A very enjoyable and informative tour. Rajesh knew all the places to get the best examples of street food in the market. My only complaint is minor…it seemed as if most of the tour was focused on sweets. After the first few stops, the savory dishes were done. A great experience nonetheless.

The guide was very helpful. The market was very crowded because of a festival. It was the end of the day so the streets were full of garbage. This made the food very unappealing. The guide was very willing to make a different day.
