Delft er en kompakt by, og den smukke bymidte er praktisk talt fri for biler, hvilket gør den perfekt til gåture. Under vores 2-timers tur vil du lære om den historiske relevans af Hollands mest charmerende by, besøg maleren Johannes' fødested Vermeer, beundre det typiske Delft Blue Pottery, og opdag dets forbindelse til den kongelige familie.

Den Gamle Kirke, lokalt døbt som 'Crooked John', stammer fra det 13. århundrede og knejser højt over pladsen, hvor vores tur starter.
120m i længden og 50m bred er Markt en af de største hollandske bypladser. Med den store Gamle Kirke og Rådhuset på hver side er det byens bankende hjerte. Hver dag er pladsen fyldt med caféterrasser og tonsvis af små aktiviteter. Men det bliver virkelig levende under nationale helligdage, når de lokale samles for at nyde livemusik, markedsboder og foodtrucks.
Dette unikke vartegn blev oprindeligt bygget som boligbyggeri, men bruges nu som hovedkontor for den regionale vandmyndighed. Det blev historisk omtalt som 'House Of Bells' på grund af dets klokkeformede blomster, der voksede rundt om verandaen.

Disgraceful. Guide didn’t turn up. When he was contacted after he was 10 minutes late we were told the tour was cancelled but nobody was told. No refund has been received yet but it is not about the money. The tour being cancelled wasted our time and meant we couldn’t book any other tour on that afternoon. Very disappointing.

We take full responsibility for this internal mistake and will not proceed to explain as I understand that doesn't make up for your lost time. Your refund should be processed by now. I do hope you still enjoyed your day in the city.
Very nice and interesting tour, even for locals. Kiki is an excellent guide. She does not only share a lot of interesting facts but is also very kind and willing to share extra information.
This was a 'free walking tour in Delft. Michel provided interesting anecdotes and history while walking around central Delft landmarks. He was great at engaging all members of the party and kept track of us in the crowded areas. Would recommend.

Entertaining guide. His English was good, but he spoke a touch too quickly. Even I (and English is my 1st language) missed one or two things he said because they were spoken too rapidly, and just occasionally mis-pronounced a few words. But hey! - I don't speak a word of Dutch so I can't really complain! He was very knowledgeable and answered questions quite effectively. My only other slight criticism was he spent just a little too long chatting about where people were from, mixed with some rather irrelevant information. (We didn't get moving until around 1.50pm.) BUT....he did a good job and the walk was entertaining and interesting.

Our guide, a young college student, was on her second week on the job. She was prompt, very pleasant. Her knowledge was fine, some questions she couldn’t answer. But. She. Spoke. Too. Fast. And. Too. Soft. I asked her to speak slowly and louder, to no avail. Her sentences often trailed off at the end. Very, very difficult to understand.
