Vores første stop på den historiske bymidte af vores tur. Her genkender vi en af Perus mest kendte befriere, Jose de San Martin.
Også kendt som St. Francis-klosteret på engelsk blev kirken og klosteret tilføjet til UNESCOs verdensarvsliste i 1991. Vi vil kort observere klostret udefra og have mulighed for at træde ind i kirken og observere omgivelserne. En komplet rundvisning af klosteret og katakomberne tilbydes ikke på denne højdepunkter rejseplan.
Her vil vi tilbringe et par minutter i hjertet af Lima. Plaza de Armas er hjemsted for præsidentpaladset, biskopens palads, katedral og kommunale bygninger og kan ofte være et livligt sted fyldt med mennesker og forskellige former for underholdning.
Et kort stop for at observere Limas mest berømte massive pyramide, der blev brugt som et ceremonielt sted for Lima-kulturen i årene 200-700. En fuld rundvisning af stedet er ikke taget, kun observeret udefra.
En kunstnerisk park beliggende på havet-klipperne i Miraflores. Overhold para svævefly sejler over hovedet og lokale unge par spadseretur langs stier dedikeret til elskere overalt. Et godt sted at snappe et hurtigt billede af dig og en elsket!
Omkring 251 meter over havets overflade får du en vidunderlig udsigt over Stillehavskystlinjen, Chorrillos Bay og Shanty-byerne nedenfor. Ofte overset på andre ture, dette kan være højdepunktet for vores!
Kendt for sin bohemske kultur og festligheder. Gader er ofte fyldt med lokale sælgere, musikere og kunstnere, og altid en favorit blandt gæster, er de lyse og farverige graffitikunstværker i hele området.

This is a great tour from start to finish. Upon arrival Edgar was friendly and welcoming. He had a vast knowledge of Peruvian history and was able to answer all questions regarding Limas vast culture. The tour was informative and insightful. I thoroughly enjoyed driving through the neighborhoods and taking beautiful pictures across spots in the city. I highly recommend this tour if you are new to Lima.

The Lima half day tour was a great introduction to Lima. Our guide and driver took us to many areas of Lima. The driver got us through the crowded streets safely and was very professional.
