En afslappende dag i Rumænien! Er en lille gruppe fuld dagstur fra Bukarest til Transylvania på en meget malerisk rute gennem Karpaterne, så du kan opdage to af de smukkeste rumænske slotte - Peles Castle & Bran (Draculas) Castle - samt byen Brasov i det sydlige Transylvania. Vi har nok tid til billeder og spise frokost i en rumænsk restaurant, hvis du ønsker det. Prisen gælder for hele gruppen.

Peles Castle er en neo-renæssance borg i Karpaterne i nærheden af Sinaia i Prahova County, Rumænien, på en eksisterende middelalderlig rute, der forbinder Transylvania og Wallachia, bygget mellem 1873 og 1914. Dens indvielse blev afholdt i 1883. Det blev bygget til konge Carol I. Offentlige besøg foretages inden for guidede ture. En af turene er begrænset til stueetagen, en anden tilføjer første sal, og den komplette tur inkluderer anden sal.
Bran Castle, beliggende nær Bran og i umiddelbar nærhed af Brasov, er et nationalt monument og vartegn i Rumænien. Festningen ligger på grænsen mellem Transylvania og Wallachia. Slottet er nu et museum dedikeret til at vise kunst og møbler indsamlet af dronning Marie. Turister kan se interiøret alene eller ved en guidet tur. I bunden af bakken er en lille friluftsmuseumspark med traditionelle rumænske bondekonstruktioner (hytter, lader osv.) Fra hele landet.

We had a great day out with Liviu, he was a wonderful guide and very flexible to what we wanted to do, while keeping us on informed and on track! It’s a long day out to the castles and Bravos but worth it! Peles castle was gorgeous and we stopped for great Romanian food on his recommendation.

This was a great experience! Our driver was excellent and provided interesting information on the diverse communities we passed through as well as his own experience growing up and living in beautiful Romania. The landscapes are stunning and the castles interesting. It was a rainy day but that was no problem. Dress for the weather!

We had great time time to visit Peles Castle, Bran Castle and lunch time at Brasov. This is a very good private tour from Bucharest to the surrounding area. The tour guide / driver Nico is very nice and knowledgeable and easy to talk during the driving time. I would recommend this private tour.

We had an amazing experience on the day trip from Bucharest to Bran Castle, Sinaia, and Peleș Castle, and a big part of that was thanks to Nico. From the very beginning, Nico was incredibly professional, friendly, and well-organized, he told us stories, explained the history and added details that made each place interesting. He answered our questions, and gave helpful tips along the way, the itinerary itself was fantastic, highly recommend this tour, and if you get Nico as your guide, you’re in great hands.
We had a truly fang-tastic day trip from Bucharest with Liviu to Peleș Castle, Bran (Dracula) Castle and Brașov. A huge plus for us was that Liviu collected us directly from our airport hotel, which many other tours wouldn’t do. Liviu messaged us on WhatsApp the day before to suggest a 7am start to avoid commuter traffic and sent us a link to pre-book timed tickets for Peleș Castle, making the whole day run incredibly smoothly. The drive to Sinaia was scenic, relaxed and full of photo opportunities. We spent around 1.5 hours exploring Peleș Castle and its grounds — every room inside felt like a work of art. Noticing our love of photography, Liviu even added a bonus stop at a nearby monastery and another scenic mountain stop, which were completely unexpected and beautiful. Next was Bran Castle, where we again had plenty of time to explore. While the interior was less impressive than Peleș, the dramatic exterior and spooky atmosphere made it well worth the visit. We also had time for souvenirs and some much-needed mulled wine to warm up. Afterwards we headed to Brașov, where Liviu recommended La Ceaun for lunch — an excellent choice. Friendly English-speaking staff, delicious regional food, generous portions and very reasonable prices. We then enjoyed some free time wandering the charming old town. On the journey back, Liviu noticed we were trying (unsuccessfully) to photograph the castle used in the Netflix series Wednesday from the car. Without hesitation, he offered a quick stop so we could take proper photos — another thoughtful bonus that really made the day special. We also grabbed some stunning shots of the mountain peaks nearby. Throughout the day, Liviu shared interesting snippets of Romanian history, was happy to chat or give quiet time depending on our mood, and had a great sense of humour. His driving was excellent, he was flexible with comfort breaks, and his local knowledge really elevated the experience. We would absolutely book with Liviu again. Thank you for such a memorable day!
I booked a private tour so I could have my own timings and stops without being dependent of the rest of the group. My guide Nicki was excellent. He made a difference and it was a great day. We made the most of all the places we visited.
Nico was a fantastic guide, he recommended an early start to avoid heavy traffic, was extremely knowledgeable on history and sights, spoke great English and recommended a fantastic local restaurant for lunch! We would highly recommend this tour.
