Amer Fort (ofte stavet "Amber") er et fort beliggende i Amer, Rajasthan, Indien. Amer Fort, som det står nu, blev bygget over resterne af denne tidligere struktur under regeringen af Raja Man Singh, Kachwaha King of Amber. Konstruktionen af Fortet blev startet i år 1592. Strukturen blev fuldt ud udvidet af sin efterkommer, Jai Singh I. Senere fulgte Amer Fort forbedringer og tilføjelser af successive herskere i løbet af de næste 150 år, indtil Kachwahas flyttede deres hovedstad til Jaipur i tiden for Sawai Jai Singh II, i 1727 .Amer Fort er kendt for sine kunstneriske hinduistiske elementer. Med sine store vrimper og række af porte og brostensbelagte stier har fortet udsigt over Maota-søen. Dette storslåede fort består af et omfattende palads kompleks bygget af lysegul og lyserød sandsten og hvid marmor.

Great experience. Damo drove us where we wanted and showed us the flower market. He added some explanation to the tour so that we learnt some things. He was also attentive to us during the heat pic.
