Denne tour er designet til at imødekomme kravene fra historie- og arkæologiske elskere, men den er i mellemtiden perfekt for naturelskere, aktive rejsende og dem, der ønsker at komme mere ind i den lokale kultur. Vi kører fra Tirana mod Shkoder. Shkodra er den eneste nævnte Illyriske hovedstad i 3.-2. århundrede f.Kr. Når vi besøger Rozafa-slottet, vil vi ikke kun opleve den overherredømme, som illyrierne ville have til at føle over deres fjender, der står i et så imponerende slot, men vi vil også beundre en betagende udsigt 360 grader over dalen, de to floder Buna og Drin, Shkoder-søen og omkringliggende bjerge.
Vi tager en vandretur i ”Gjuhadol”, et nyrenoveret gågadeområde med italiensk og østrigsk arkitektonisk påvirkning, som vidnesbyrd om denne bys historiske forbindelser med begge disse lande. Derefter kan vi se Marubi-museet (valgfrit) (mesterfotograf i slutningen af det 19. århundrede), som indeholder en udstilling af gamle tryk. Han tog det første fotografi på Balkan i 1856. Marubi har efterladt et væld af 500 000 glasnegativer. Udvalget af udskrifter, vi vil se, vise mennesker og livet i området for næsten 2 århundreder siden.
I Lezhe vil vi se mausoleumet af Skanderbeg, albanernes nationale helt. Han blev begravet inde i den hellige Nicholas kirke.
vi fortsætter til Kruja centrum for albansk modstand mod osmannerne under vores nationale helt, Scanderbeg. Han forhindrede de osmanniske hære fra at krydse ind i Vesteuropa i 25 år og tjente således titlen ”Athleta Christi”, der blev tildelt af datidens pave. Vi besøger Skanderbeg-museet og et rigt etnografisk museum, hvor næsten alle genstande er originale fra slutningen af 1800-tallet. Endelig kører vi gennem Krujas berømte basar fuld af traditionelt kunsthåndværk og souvenirs. Vend tilbage til Tirana.

The excursion to Kruja and Shkodra was a fantastic experience. Everything was very well organized and the places are impressive, full of history and with beautiful landscapes. Our guide, Jetmir, was very friendly, close and always attentive, explaining everything clearly and making the tour very pleasant. A very complete and highly recommended experience.

A very full day. Our guide, Jetmir, quite a professional. No longer only for the excursion itself, but for all the knowledge it has. A crack! We've been flying all day.

Everything was on wheels. Another company canceled the tour that same day in the morning, we called Aria travel and in less than 1 hour we were riding in the van on the way to Shköder. Jetmir our guide has been charming, very attentive and has fulfilled all our wishes and expectations. The trip has lasted longer than anticipated due to traffic and other matters and has had no problem explaining and teaching all the stops of our tour, always cheerful and close. I highly recommend this company.

I did the tour in Italian with Ervis because in Spanish it was not available. He tried to make me feel comfortable. Highly recommended

It was a magnificent experience. We contracted two excursions with the agency: the first day, Lake Belshi and Berat, and the segundp, Krujë and Shkodër. The guide, Gleni, was very friendly throughout. He spoke Spanish very well and helped us to get to know the places visited and the Albanian history and culture. I recommend this company without any doubt.

Excellent tour company with very reasonable prices, almost too reasonable so was expecting a ride to famous places with a little information given but I was pleasantly surprised. We had the best tour guide I have ever had & I’ve been to 20 different countries. I signed up for tours because after I arrived it took me about 1 minute after getting in my friends car to decide there’s no way I was going to drive in Albania & I’ve driven in most of the countries I’ve visited. I only listed one tour but the first tour to Berati was so well done we signed up for the Two day tour to Gjirokastra and Saranda (Butrint was included) and the one day tour to Kruja & Shkroda. Having Gleni as a guide was like having your cousin or other family member show you around.

I was a private tpur for 6 people with a magnificicent guide who was able to speak spanish. GREAT VIEWS, great explanation, the tour included lunch in restaurant with typical food, very nice food. Highly recomend this tour.
