Dagtur på Korcula Island fra Dubrovnik med vinsmagning

Beskrivelse
Oftest vil du læse, at Korčula er byen Marco Polo. Det er sandt, men det er også så meget mere! Korčulas optegnelser over tid går tilbage til yngre stenalder.

At the internet offered the tour will last until 9 or 10pm, but didnt. It last until 5pm. All the tour is in a rush. What they care is to retur as soon as possible
We have utilized viator tours several times in several countries. We have written reviews that praised the tours and the individual tour guides that conducted them. One such case was just on Monday, June 8, 2026, when we went on a tour from Dubrovnik to Montenegro, in which we gave a 5-star rave review of our guide that is available for anyone to see. Then we went on a tour on the 10th of June from Dubrovnik to Korcula. It was such a complete disappointment that we had to quit the tour and pay for other accommodations. The tour began by being picked up late in Dubrovnik, where we were promised a car/van, a professional English speaking tour guide and a driver. Our driver was the only person in the van, so we assumed he must also be the tour guide, picked us up without speaking to us. We spent the next half hour picking up 4 other tour members from Argentina, who, by the way had the same expectations of this trip as we did. Then the 3-and-a-half-hour ride began. The other individuals were not part of a Viator tour but another agency. There was no explanation of the plans for the day by the driver (because he spoke very little English), except that when we arrived at Ston he said “I will meet you in an hour.” All of the members of the tour asked if there were a tour guide or explanation of where we were and he just said “no.” We all looked at each other saying “what are we going to do here?” Since there were no restroom stops on the way and we would have another 1.5 hours to get to the ferry, we were all afraid to drink anything for fear we would get ourselves in trouble. Again, in the last 1.5 hours there was no discussion and all the passengers just to looked at each other in disbelief. When we arrived at the port he parked and we watched a ferry take off which we thought was ours. Then the driver flagged down another dilapidated boat with a young skipper dressed in scraggly clothes. When we arrived in Korcula he said I will be back at 2:45. We asked about the promised 30 minute guided tour and he said no there is none. And we told him we were supposed to have a total of 3 and a half hours and he said no. Because this is our first and most likely our only trip to Korcula, we were looking forward to the information that a guide would give us. We found and paid for another tour and a ferry ticket back to Dubrovnik that would allow us to spend enough time to do what we originally expected from the description of our Viator trip. We ended up paying considerably more for a tour and a ride home. But at least it would spare us the excruciating restroom less ride back. To be clear, when we arrived in Korcula we messaged and called Viator twice. The first person who answered said he was too busy to do anything and referred us to a different number. The second said “yes, I’ll let them know, just go ahead and find a ferry home.” ENTIRELY DISSAPOINTED WITH THE FRAUDULENT PACKAGE THAT WE WERE SOLD. In fairness, our driver was nice and very safe but there was only about 4 sentences spoken on the entire trip out. Dr Jeff and Deborah Slepski
We had an amazing time, our tour guide Carmen was very professional, friendly, and we learned a lot of history during the day. The Korcula Island was beautiful and we had time to explore the island. We enjoyed it.
Long day traveling and not a lot of time in each place. Wine tasting was just two wines, No information about the wine making in that region.
Anet was great. Day was well planned. Korcula was gorgeous. The communication on the tour agency end was terrible. I had to email Viator to see if i was still on since other tours reached out a day or two prior. These guys called at 930pm the night before. Also the tour wasn’t by the same company as booked.
My guide, Carmen, was absolutely fantastic! She was so sweet and knowledgeable! Korcula island was spectacular!!! I was a bit disappointed that the wine tasting included only one wine, but it was a lovely day!!
Absolutely recommended. This was a fantastic and very good-value trip. Korčula was a beautiful way to see a different side of Dalmatia, away from the busiest tourist areas. The day had a good balance of free time, guided walks, history, culture and wine tasting. Our guide Daf was professional, friendly and knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and well organised. A memorable and worthwhile day trip from Dubrovnik.
Beautiful excursion towards Korkula via a small friendly village Ston. At the end of April, the crowd is quieter so we were in minivan with a great driver who gave quite a lot of exploitation. The city of Korkula is top. The visit of the wine producer is very original because it is wines aged in amphora in the Adriatic. On the organization before the day, it deserves more coordination on the meeting point in the morning. In the end, it was a beautiful day. I recommend this excursion.
Ivan was a great tour guide and driver! He gave us a lot of information about Croatia and Dubrovnik. Ston was amazing, such a beautiful village, and the ramparts were truly stunning! I wish we had had more time to go and experience walking "on the walls!" Then Korcula; the boat to cross from land to Korcula was waiting for us, and we arrived in this beautiful village, with so much character, and a great church, with an opportunity to climb the church tower from which the views were beautiful! Great opportunity also to go for a swim! Then back to land and off to taste wine. The winery was very nice, and the reception was nice too, but the wines were not great; everyone on the tour that tasted the 3 wines, came to that same conclusion; however we could see that other "wine tasters" were offered different wines which, according to the price list on the wall, were more expensive - and probably better. This was a bit of a disappointment, but the tour group was very "happy together" and we still had a good time.
We booked 2 trips with the company in the time that we spent in Dubrovnik. I must say everything was great - the guide was fun and helpful and even the hours long bus ride passed quickly with the beautiful views of croatia and montenegro. All in all a great experience💪
