Oplev det største museum for oldgyptisk kunst med dets skatte fra Egyptens storslåede fortid, såsom gravgaver af høj kvalitet. Vores turguide vil humoristisk forklare de vigtigste udstillinger i løbet af et besøg på cirka to timer og besvare dine spørgsmål. Beundr det sidste tilbageværende verdensvidunder - en sand legendarisk oplevelse! I alt finder du tre pyramider her: Chephren-pyramiden, Cheops-pyramiden og Menkerinos-pyramiden. Du kan udforske området til fods, på hesteryg eller på kamel. Efter at have besøgt pyramiderne i Giza, tager vi til den store sfinks, den absolut største og bedst bevarede sfinks. Den består af et menneskehoved på en løvekrop. Sfinksen blev hugget ud af resterne af en kalkstenshøj, der tjente som stenbrud til den store pyramide i Giza. Felucca-ridt på Nilen. Du bliver hentet fra dit hotel omkring kl. 4. Ved din ankomst til Kairo vil du blive mødt af din rejseguide, som vil ledsage dig gennem hele turen. Mød din egyptologiske turguide på museet for at starte din dag. Besøg det topmoderne Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), verdens største arkæologiske museum med over 100.000 artefakter, eller Det Gamle Egyptiske Museum på Tahrir-pladsen. Vælg dit foretrukne museum under bookingprocessen. Bagefter kan du nyde din frokost. Udflugten fortsætter til de store pyramider af Keops, Kefren og Mykerinus. Pyramideturen slutter ved Sfinksen og templet i nærheden. Hvis tiden tillader det, vil du have mulighed for at besøge basaren i Kairo sidst på dagen, inden du vender tilbage til Sharm el Sheikh. Ved din ankomst til lufthavnen bliver du kørt til dit hotel i et køretøj med aircondition.
Hvis returflyvningen fra Cairo er sent om aftenen, vil vi bruge noget tid på at besøge middelalderens London (Khan el Klalili-markedet), det gamle Cairo, som for nylig blev føjet til UNESCOs verdensarvsliste, eller Cairo Festival City, et ekstra stort (airconditioniseret) indkøbscenter, et af de største i Mellemøsten. Fuld af de mest berømte internationale mærker, restauranter, caféer og et enormt farverigt dansende springvand, hvor du vil blive tiltrukket af Cairos chikke, moderne natteliv.
Hvis vi har tid, kan vi foretage to karakteristiske besøg på Papyrusmuseet og fabrikken for æteriske olier. Disse to attraktioner vil gøre dig bekendt med de gamle egyptiske teknikker til fremstilling af papyrus og essenser. Disse to interessante besøg vil udvide din viden om dagliglivet i det gamle Egypten og er også nyttige for de egyptiske landmænd, der arbejder i disse sektorer og bevarer disse meget gamle håndværk fra det gamle Egypten. Had an amazing time travelling to the Pyramids, camel ride and the G.E.M museum and also stopped for a boat ride on the Nile. Our guide Reem and driver Mohammad Abdul were both fantastic and really made our day more enjoyable. Reem's wealth of knowledge was incredible. A great experience. Would definitely recommend.
Great day from pickup. Prompt information great and Sam is knowledgeable gentleman. Very much enjoyed the trip for the Nile is extra but worth doing. Organisation was very good. Would recommend.
What a fantastic day from start to finish. Sam was excellent—he went above and beyond, and his knowledge was genuinely second to none. Everything was so well organised from the moment we were collected, right through to being escorted through the airport. The food was lovely, even for our fussy eater, the pacing was perfect, and the small‑group setup meant we never felt rushed. Comfortable air conditioned transport through out. This experience was far better value than booking through our hotel, and our little one (7) was made to feel fully included throughout. Everything was covered apart from tips and the optional Nile cruise, which was very reasonably priced. Sam always made sure we had everything we needed and even helped us agree a fair price when my daughter wanted to buy a little pyramid. Overall, a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend.

This is a superb trip, 6:30 pick up & to the airport. We got our visa before we left the UK. Then just prior to the trip we get asked to show the visa & passport stamp. What I sent was incorrect, there’s an additional 600 Egyptian ponds to pay each for a stamp that’s done at the airport. On the way to the pyramids, your asked if you want to do a camel ride & or a little boat ride down the Nile, €10 each, sad yes. Once on the camel they don’t want you off of it but when it’s time to get off they demand another €10 to pay. It’s hard to get away from them without paying. Still a great view & experience seeing these historically pyramids and Sphinx. The meal was good. We were promised 3 bottles of water but only received 2, which was very annoying as it was sooooo hot. The museum was good but so big & way too hot to be stood outside listening to the guide. The river ride was a pleasant end to the day. Very tired by the end of it.
Great trip visiting the pyramids and the grand Egyptian museum with Jimmy, very informative knowledgeable and friendly, also good lunch provided near the pyramids. Run very well from pick up in Sharm to pick up in Cairo. WhatsApp messages the day before to confirm all the details. Definitely recommend
We had a wonderful day! everything ran like clockwork and our guide Jimmy was so passionate about showing us many areas we had not even seen with a previous tour. Jimmy was very considerate of our needs and for the less able members of our group. The day was catered personally to our needs and we were not at all pressured to do a nile cruise or a perfume/papyrus shop! Thank you for a ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ day!
From start to finish, our day trip from Sharm to Cairo was absolutely flawless. We were picked up directly from our resort and taken straight through the airport, with all the visa paperwork and security handled for us — such a relief when travelling with a teenager. When we landed in Cairo, we were met by our driver and our Egyptologist, Reem, who was an absolute star from the moment we got in the car. On the drive to Giza she talked us through Egypt’s history, pointed out places of interest, and answered every question we threw at her. She made the journey feel like part of the experience rather than just travel time. At the Giza Plateau, Reem guided us around the pyramids and the Sphinx, explaining the history in a way that was fascinating, clear, and full of passion. She took photos for us, never rushed us, and made sure we saw the best viewpoints. It felt like walking through a documentary — but with someone who genuinely cared that we enjoyed every moment. Lunch was at a beautiful Egyptian restaurant overlooking the pyramids, complete with more photos and a chance to soak in the view. In the afternoon, we visited the Grand Egyptian Museum, where Reem highlighted the most important pieces before giving us time to explore on our own. We could easily have spent all day there. With a little time left before our flight, Reem arranged a short boat ride on the Nile — something I never expected to fit into the day, and a huge tick on our bucket list. Throughout the day, Reem didn’t just teach us about ancient Egypt; she also shared what life in modern Egypt is like. It was eye‑opening, thoughtful, and added so much depth to the experience. The dash back to the airport was… an adventure. Cairo traffic is absolutely wild, but our driver was excellent and somehow got us there in one piece. My son and I had a truly amazing day — one we’ll remember forever. Everything was organised perfectly, down to the smallest detail. I would never have attempted arranging all of this myself, and I’m so glad we didn’t have to. All we had to do was sit, walk, and take photos. I would 1000% recommend this trip, and we will always have happy memories of Cairo and Giza thanks to Reem.
