Inspirationen til animatorer af Disneys Løvernes Konge, Hell's Gate National Park, dækker omkring 26 kvadrat miles (68,25 kvadratkilometer). Opkaldt efter et hul i de rødfarvede klipper udskåret af det strømmende vand i en forhistorisk sø, er det den eneste park i Østafrika, hvor du kan komme ud af dit safari-køretøj og vandre frit. At cykle i parken, mens du ser dyrelivet i deres naturlige habitat samt gå langs kløften, er noget, du ikke må gå glip af i helvedes port. Vores akkrediterede guide/chauffør henter dig kl. 7 fra dit hotel. Han vil tage dig gennem en kort rundvisning af turen. Start rejsen gennem højlandet i kikuyu. Efter en times kørsel når du udsigtspunktet, hvor du vil stoppe i 30 minutter for at se den store sprækkedal, mens du tager billeder. Du vil også have en god udsigt over bjerget Longonot, et vulkanbjerg med et krater på toppen. Start med at køre ned ad sprækkedalen i 1 time mod søen Naivasha, hvor helvedes gate nationalpark ligger. Den landbrugsaktivitet, der udføres her, er dyrkning af roser, og du vil se masser af grønne huse. På dette tidspunkt vil du have nået indgangen til helvedes port. Our driver and guide, Meshack, was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. He was reliable, friendly and knowledgeable. We had plenty of time to see everything. The guide at Hells Gate NP was great too. Saw plenty of hippos in Lake Naivasha too. We would recommend this operator to anyone.
I had an amazing experience during my trip to Naivasha! All of the tour guides were amazing and made my experience so fun! Also, Calvin, the driver, was a really nice and friendly person to have as my driver!

We had a great day out with Dismus and Frunk to Lake Naivasha and Hell's Gate National Park. Our guides were very knowledgeable, informative and friendly. We felt like travelling with friends on a day trip and not taking part in a paid activity. This tour was private, so no big groups or anything like that. The guys were on time and made our journey enjoyable. It took about 3 hours to get to the lake. We had a short break mid-way at the Rift Valley viewpoint. Unfortunately, it was misty, but we managed to see the valley. Toilet, coffee, and gift shops were available there. After that, we continued our trip to the lake. We started there as the weather was closing in, and the guys said the lake tends to get heavy rains, so better to go there early. We had a great time at the lake. The weather was perfect, mostly sunny and very warm. We were handed over to the boat team. Our guide knew everything, all birds, all animals. We learned a lot. managed to see plenty of hippos, pelicans, waterbucks, and all sorts of birds. The lake itself is beautiful. I saw some pics before we went, but it was better than expected. After the lake, we went to get some bikes, which were transferred to the park entrance for us. We bought the tickets at the gate (I would recommend buying them a day before online and saving some time that way). The park is great, full of animals, and we got to cycle amongst them. I believe this is the only safari park where one can ride a bike. We went to see the gorge where, surprisingly, some hot springs were visible. Again, we learned a lot about the animals living there. Cycling back is a bit harder as it's mostly going up, so if one is not used to that in the heat, then better to opt for an electric bike. It's also possible to go by car, but what is the fun in that :) We really enjoyed the trip, which was great thanks to our guides. I wish we had more time to spend there with them. This trip is highly recommended! This was an amazing experience!! Meshack was our driver and one of our guides. We were promptly picked up at our hotel as planned. Everything was well coordinated. The bicycle ride at Hell’s Gate was spectacular!! I hadn’t ridden a bike, in over 20 years, but picked it right back up. Francis ,was our bike guide, and he was fantastic. He was patient with us, as we needed to stop for brief breaks. There was a hike down into a gorge that was unexpected, but we did it!! If you have any stability issues, you’ll want to pass on that, or ask if you can take the stairs. (Stairs were used on the way back up). The boat ride was great and we got to see hippos! Excellent guide for that experience as well. We would highly recommend this tour. It was an amazing day that pushed us physically, but zero regrets, and we do it many times over!! They do offer e-bike options, so you can make it less challenging. Wear long sleeves, pants, hat, and sunscreen. Be sure to put sunscreen on the top of your hands too! They are exposed on the bike handles. Hiking type/waterproof shoes are definitely recommended.

Will recommend it to everybody coming to Nairobi but you need to be fit for the bike ,il is 8 kilometer twice plus 1 hour of tracking

Amazing time! Douglas and Lekie, our guides were so knowledgeable and so fun! We learned so much and the bike riding was incredible. Saw so many animals so close up. Hippos and zebras and so many birds! Would highly recommend

Frank and Dismus were very friendly, patient and accommodating. They made the experience 10x better. I would definitely book with this company. Also affordable rates too. Lastly the bike tour was adventurous while the boat ride was scenic. And Frank came off as knowledgeable.

This was overall a great experience. Lake Naivasha and Hell's Gate are both well worth visiting. Combining both in a single day trip from Nairobi is a little rushed, but the tour allocates time as well as possible. We were able to see lots of animals and some beautiful landscapes. Our driver/guide Meshack was very communicative, drove safely, provided interesting information, and was overall very friendly. The restaurant for lunch was very nice with a large menu of delicious food and reasonable prices.
