An engaging half-day tour of Nairobi's highlights. An interesting half-day tour of the main attractions in Nairobi. We experienced feeding the giraffes at the Giraffe Center and learned about its history, marveled at the house of Karen Blixen, and observed the creation of the famous African beads at the Kobe Tough. The Giraffe Center was such a treat and our guide Stephen was extremely knowledgeable about the place and the animals. The Karen Blixen estate is a must see in Nairobi. Such a peaceful and calming environment in a busy city.

We had a wonderful time with our driver who took us to many very interesting places-a women’s fabrication coop, the Giraffe Center, a Masai shop and Karen Blixen Hotel.

We enjoyed the bead making, the giraffe centre was good but a little rushed and Karen Blixens house was interesting. Would have preferred to spend more time with the giraffes and skip the craft shop.

Feeding the giraffes was wonderful !!! Seeing these beautiful animals up close was life changing. They are so gentle and graceful and friendly.

Our guide, Isaac, was wonderful and made sure we enjoyed the whole experience. I knew about Karen Blixen from Out of Africa but had no idea to the extent of her influence and support of the local community. And being up close and personal with the giraffes was unforgettable.
