Lad os gå! Når vi alle hopper ombord på vores eget private køretøj og tager afsted mod den mægtige Mekong-flod! Denne rejse vil tage omkring tre timer og vil give dig en chance for at lære alt om flodens forløb, og hvordan den ankommer til Vietnam fra sin oprindelse i Tibets sneklædte bjerge. Du vil også komme til at se på det spektakulære omkringliggende landskab, mens vi kører gennem den vidunderligt frugtbare region. Tag chancen for at få et glimt af den lokale livsstil, når vi passerer gennem et af amtets landbrugs-hotspots.
Oplev Cai Be og lokal vietnamesisk kultur Når vi ankommer til Cai Be, går vi ombord på vores private sampan (en traditionel, motoriseret båd) for at begynde vores uforglemmelige krydstogt langs Mekong-floden. Først vil vi opleve et lille traditionelt flydende marked. Dette er en uundgåelig chance for at få et indblik i handel væk fra turistfokuserede markeder i byen. Forvent at blive blændet af en række farver, lugte og lyde. Hold dit kamera ved hånden for at tage nogle smukke billeder!
Roning Sampan & guidet cykeltur Efter det flydende marked skifter vi til robådene og går ind i de mindre, afsondrede kanaler i deltaet. Her kan vi komme helt tæt på og være en del af dagligdagen for lokale mennesker og landmænd. Dernæst kommer vi tilbage på det tørre, mens vi besøger Tan Phong-øen. Efter et hurtigt stop ved en velsmagende frugthave, vil vi opleve den fortryllende musik fra det sydvestlige Vietnam, mens vi nyder en lokal forestilling. Vi tager også på en guidet cykeltur på denne vidunderlige ø. Undervejs vil vi besøge lokale familier og lære, hvordan de bruger jorden til at lave alt fra delikat rispapir til de robuste tage i deres hjem. Familierne vil forkæle os med Mekong-delikatesser til frokost, som omfatter frisklavede forårsruller, stegt græskarblomst og smukt braiseret svinekød opblødt i kokosjuice.
Udforsk mere af deltaet af Sampan Efter den særlige Mekong-frokost går vi over til en mindre robåd, så vi kan komme dybere ind i deltaets mindre kanaler for at komme tilbage til vores store båd. Motorbåden bevæger sig langsomt langs flodbredderne med flydende dambrug og vender derefter tilbage til My Tho for turen tilbage til Ho Chi Minh City.

Sonny was an excellent and informative guide. This tour was exactly as described and included excellent commentary on Vietnamese life in the present as well as historical details.
This is definitely worth booking, a bit touristy but very romantic.

We had a very comfortable day at Mekong Delta with our tour guide Slim. We were picked in a very comfortable minibus. Slim gave us insights into local culture, food, history etc. The tour was not rushed. We got experience the local culture with the residents of the islands. We chose vegetarian lunch which was included in our itinerary and it was very tasty. Overall our trip was very pleasant and we enjoyed our time. Will surely recommend them.
We had a great time today with Chris! Scenery of the Mekong river is something that will stay in your memory forever - book this trip you won't regret it. Lunch was delicious and big, we did not wait in lines and we had a private boat 10/10 recommended! 🚀
We had a wonderful experience on our Mekong Delta tour. Our guide, Sim, was extremely knowledgeable as well as very nice. He made us feel right at home as he introduced us to local village life in the area. The lunch that was included exceeded our expectations. My favorite was the fresh fish spring rolls. I highly recommend Maika Tours. And be sure to ask for Sim!
We had such a memorable day on the Mekong Delta tour during our trip to HCMC. Our private tour to the Mekong Delta from Saigon was an unforgettable experience, especially traveling with our elderly parents. From start to finish, everything was thoughtfully arranged. Our guide and driver were incredibly attentive — always assisting our mom in and out of the van and boat with care and patience. The private van was comfortable, and the boat ride along the river was peaceful and scenic. One of the highlights was the superb lunch — delicious local dishes in a beautiful, serene setting.
