På kun 3 timer cykler vi i et let tempo til og gennem den historiske park og vil forklare dig historien og virkningen af Ayutthaya, den tidligere hovedstad i Siam.
Vi stopper ved Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, som var det vigtigste tempel i Ayutthaya og beliggende inden for Royal Palace-området.
Næste stop er ved Wat Mahathat, bedst kendt for sit fotogene Buddhas hoved, der er flettet ind i rødderne af et træ. Det er et af de mest genkendelige billeder fra Thailand og kan findes på mange postkort og rejsebøger.
Vores første stop er ved Pom Phet eller "Diamond Fortress", en af de seksten fæstninger langs Ayutthayas bymur. Selvom det er delvist ødelagt, formidler fortet stadig, hvad der må have været gamle rejsendes første indtryk af Kongeriget Siam.
Turen bringer os derefter til den verdenskendte Ayutthaya Historical Park, en UNESCO World Heritage Site siden 1991. Her ser vi ruinerne af de gamle templer.

We had the funnest day with our lovely, social and amazing guide. Turned out we had a private tour today!! We got a cold bottle of water and a helmet and a bike each. The 2 boys (11 and 13) got a cool Mountain bike and i was very thankfull with my city bike. Our guide brought us to beautiful tempels and explained the buddist believes and stories from the walls on the inside of the royal buddist temple, explained the history of Ayutthaya and the input from foreign countries. We got to taste the interesting but lovely sweet local treat and took in the most indescribable, picturesque scenery. The boys were imagining all sorts of adventures stories here. It was intensely hot and we got some umbrellas to walk around with. Our guide was full of energy and passion. Answered every question and took care of us well. Would advise this trip to anyone!
