Besøg den fantastiske Sacred Valley, et af de mest besøgte steder i Peru, og et 'must see', når du besøger. Den hellige dal er et smukt og virkelig fascinerende område, omgivet af bjerge, Inca-citadeller, vævende landsbyer og farverige markeder, beliggende cirka 15 km nord for Cuzco (1,5 time i bil). På denne dagstur vil du besøge den traditionelle væveby Chinchero, Moray, Maras, terrasserne i Pisac og dets marked, Urubamba-floden og fæstningen Ollantaytambo. Du vil også få en velsmagende frokostbuffet inkluderet i turens pris.

Vi henter dig fra dit hotel omkring kl. 7:00 og tager til Chinchero, en typisk Andeslandsby, som kombinerer inkaruiner med en kolonikirke, nogle vidunderlige bjergudsigter og et farverigt søndagsmarked. Vi vil lære om processen om, hvordan lokalbefolkningen laver deres tekstiler. En vævermester vil vise os deres teknikker og alle stadier trin for trin, fra indsamlingen af råmaterialerne til vaskeprocessen og farvningen af trådene med naturlige farvestoffer. Du får også chancen for at købe nogle af deres produkter i slutningen af demonstrationen.
Moray er et arkæologisk sted beliggende ca. 7,5 miles fra byen Maras og 39 miles fra Cusco. Det mest imponerende træk er dets system med cirkulære landbrugsterrasser, der er op til 330 fod dybe. Nogle mennesker tror, at inkaerne brugte dette sted som et slags laboratorium til at bestemme de optimale betingelser for dyrkning af afgrøder af hver art.
Turen fortsætter med et besøg i kolonibyen Maras og dens kirke. Vi vil derefter besøge de gamle saltpander, strategisk gravet ned i bjergsiden, tusindvis af lavvandede bassiner fyldt med saltvand fordamper til sidst og efterlader det krystalliserede salt, en proces, der har været praktiseret i mere end 500 år.

Vi vil besøge Ollantaytambo, et gammelt inka tempel og fæstning ,, beliggende ved den nordvestlige ende af Incas Sacred Valley.
Vi vil besøge de fantastiske ruiner af Pisac og dens farverige lokale marked. Et utroligt sted med relativt lille antal turister, der besøger dagligt. Dette sted har forskellige bygninger som pladser, templer, puljer og andre strukturer, der blev bygget mellem 10. og 11. århundrede e.Kr. Vi anbefaler stærkt at reservere flere timer for at udforske dette websted. Inca-arkitekturen er imponerende, da de brugte deres teknikker til at opbygge enorme terrasser, der går fra syd til øst og dækker et stort bjerg, der ligger fra 3.000-3.450 moh (9.843 - 11.319 fasl). Dens paladser og måden stenbjælkerne er placeret på, er virkelig utrolige.

This trip was the BEST! We saw so much and learned even more. The tour guides were top notch and the timing was perfect.
I just returned from a 10 day immersion trip in Peru with Studia Spanish. It was one of the most incredible trips I have been on. We saw The Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Palcoyo Mountain and much more. Everything was arranged perfectly from airport shuttles to the incredible train ride to Machu Picchu. We toured Peru for 2 weeks with Into Peru and we loved it! We went to: Lima - vibrant, warm, best food I’ve ever eaten in my life, felt safe in Miraflores and Barranco etc Iquitos - Amazon jungle was mesmerising, amazing wildlife (we saw sloths, monkeys, pink and grey dolphins all in their natural Habitat). Fished for piranhas, did a night hike through the jungle, swam in the lodge’s pool, went to a local market. Absolutely once in a lifetime. Private tours for our family. Lodge was great, astounded by how good the food was with fresh fish etc. Ica - sand dune riding, sand boarding, tubing, true adrenaline fuelled! We were taken in private vehicle from lima and private tour at huacachina. Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu - outstanding experience with unforgettable memories made. Absolutely loved it all, Maras and Moray, the Inca sights, Machu Picchu is magical. What made the whole thing so enjoyable was knowing we didn’t have to plan or think about how to get around, where we needed to be etc was all taken care of so we could just concentrate on having the best time possible as a family. Travelled with our kids who are 8 and 6 and Into Peru were so good with them, the planning to take into consideration what was best for them and us was the best service I’ve ever had on vacation. They thought about the altitude for the kids so we went straight to the Sacred Valley at a lower altitude to get used to it before ending in Cusco. We had family friendly tours in the jungle. I can’t recommend them highly enough, especially if travelling with kids. Thank you so much for an awesome trip!
We had a truly amazing time in Peru, we had no idea how to plan everything and are so glad we chose Into Peru to do it for us. We travelled with kids and going down to the sacred valley straight away definitely helped get used to the altitude. Into Perú is a great travel agency. They planned our trip from day 1. We visited Perú and Cusco. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, our drivers were always on time. The tour guides were exceptional. They have an amazing team. We went to a Cusco City Tour, to the Sacred Valley and to Machu Picchu. Into Perú, organized all the transportation, hotel stays and the entrance to every place. I definitely recommend them. They did an amazing job.
Our whole extended family (over 20 of us!) did our dream trip to Peru. My husband and I spent the most wonderful week touring Peru. We went to Cusco, through the marvelous Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. In the Sacred Valley we visited Maras and Moray, Pisaq and Chinchero. We met many wonderful local people and loved their hospitality. We took the memorable Hiram Bingham train to Machu Picchu which was outstanding and then loved our visit to Machu Picchu. We are older now and not as fit as we used to be but our tour guide was so patient and took his time with us. On our way back from Machu Picchu we stayed at the marvelous Tambo del Inka hotel which is truly faultless and a great place to rest up. We had Into Peru plan our trip and boy did they do well. We opted for their luxury private service for the two of us and we were treated like royalty! Everyone was fantastic, very punctual and incredibly kind and respectful. If you are looking for someone to take care of the planning so your trip runs smoothly then I very much recommend Into Peru. They were excellent and gave us a trip that we will never forget. We just finished a week long trip through the Sacred Valley and Cusco, culminating at Machu Picchu with Into Peru. We went for their private service in the hope it would be stress free and personalized and it sure was! We left incredibly pleased with the service which helped to heighten the glorious Peruvian sights and scenery. We could not have asked for more. Highly recommend visiting Peru, especially Cusco, although Lima and its delicious food were also very memorable. Can not recommend Into Peru highly enough, they were great in every way.
